I have an old L L Bean quilted shirt with a green plaid design. The elbows had holes forming and my wife sowed on small patches but these patches were starting to have separation from the material. I looked on EBay and similar old L L Bean shirts can sell for more than $150 on EBay!!!! I ironed on two elbow patches right over the old ones and the shirt is good for MANY more years. I am thrilled.

Used these to cover a hole in the sleeve of my husband's bathrobe. Worked very well

This works, but the iron on doesn't stick well. Iron it first, then stitch around it and it will be fine

I followed the instructions but may have applied incorrectly. Only lasted a day.

Easy to handle and stitch for extra strength. Washable and easy care for years. Placed on winter, men’s’ short elbows. If not used, shirts would have to be discarded.Delivery is always before promise date!!

The patches look nice and if you can sew them on would be attractive, but ironing them onto a hounds-tooth wool coat they quickly began to peel off.

These were better than expected. My favorite flannel shirt wore out a sleeve at the elbow, and it's not a shirt that's easy to replace. I don't sew - don't even iron much, really. The package came with instructions that were easy to follow. A hot iron applied the patch. It feels like a real velvet patch and shows no sign of peeling off. The shirt has been worn several times, sleeves have been rolled up, and I've even picked at the edges a bit, but it remains attached firmly to the material. My experience has been positive.
