I bought a Sunbeam warmer full size a couple of months ago. while it warmed well, it was flimsy and you can feel the wires lying in it. That’s why I decided to look for another one. I compared this one with many others on Amazon but decided on this one. It came this evening and I quickly replaced the old one. Wow, this one is nice! It’s so soft and smooth. Definitely cannot feel any wires. It felt luxurious and thick. It warmed up quickly even without using the preheat button. It warmed event and broadly. I am loving it.By the way, many reviews mentioned that the smart home feature didn’t work. Well, it works for me but not what you think. The controller, by default, is normally configured to be off when you plug it into the wall outlet and only gets turned on when you push the on-off button. However, if you want to be able to ask Alexa to turn it on ahead of sleeping to get the bed all warmed up and cozy, from downstairs, you will first need to get an Alexa compatible WiFi plug all setup. Then you plug in your controller to this wifi plug. The accompanied instruction tells you to push and hold the preheat button for 2 seconds and you will see one quick flash and then goes off. Your controller is now ready for “smart†control. When you tell Alexa to switch on that smart plug that your warmer is plugged into, the warmer controller will now automatically switch on (instead of remaining off by default) to preheat the mattress warmer. Hahaha, not the smartest, but it is smart enough to allow you to switch it on to preheat your bed without having to go upstairs to the bedroom to switch it on. Kind of backward. 😂Oh, just want to add additional insight after using it with Alexa for a while. If you turn it on with Alexa and allow it to stay on for 10 hours, the mattress controller will turn itself off automatically, an auto-off feature. The following evening, if you tell Alexa to turn it on, the smart plug it is plugged into is still on, but since the controller is now off due to the auto-off feature, the mattress will not come on until you physically switch it on. So, if you want to continue to use the “smart†feature with Alexa or other voice activated devices the next day, you have to tell Alexa to switch off the smart plug before the mattress’ 10-hours auto-off. Kinda confusing.Oh, one more thing. The controller wire goes into the mattress heater at the center of the foot a few inches from the end. So, my feet hits it and it’s a bit bothersome. So my solution was to turn it around up side down so that the controller wire enter at the head. This way, my pillows covers it and I never feel the wire ever again!! Smart. If I may say so myself!!!

After my mattress pad of over 15 years died, I wanted to buy the same thing, but it didn't come in a California King, so I settled on this pad instead. The preheat setting is fast, which I love, and I am cold-natured, but #3 stays plenty warm. Dual controls are a must because hubby likes his side cooler. I wish it was thicker but more importantly I can't feel the wires so it's fine.

UPDATED: 2/23/25: Controller is dying out on this replacement. I had the first one replaced. Now it's 2 years or so later and the controller is dying out again. I will call the company to discuss this, but I don't think I will buy another one of these. I will find another brand. This controller issue seems to be quite common now, dying after about 2 years.I really liked this so far, had it almost 3 years and it's been great. However, I discover tonite the controller is dying out, it won't stay on. I thought over the past week or so it's been going off and wondered if I turned it off. Nope. Power button doesn't stay on. They do want you to try a reset first, by turning controller off and unplug it from the wall for a while, then try again. Mine didnt work.Called the company today, about five minutes on the phone, very nice young lady asked for the model number and quality control numbers off the back of the controller, got my name and address, checked to see if they have one in stock, and she's sending a replacement and allow 48 hours for processing. Fantastic 5-star service, thank you!!!

The "instructions" seemed to be for some other model, they used "?" A lot in the model number. But it was easy to set up and it fit great. The first use seemed to be OK. The controllers turned on and accepted the heat setting. Next morning both were giving the blink of death noted by so many other reviews.Once blinking they wouldn't react to any amount of button pushing, long holds, short stabs, multiple pushes..DOA unless I unplugged and re-plugged them in. I plugged the controllers into the wall outlet at the head of the bed which required pulling the bed away from the wall to unplug and plug back in. Then I had to move the bed back against the wall. No. I didn't pay to do this every day.I gave the pad 1 star because, if I unplugged both controllers in the morning and plugged them in at night, the heating pad actually worked.I liked the fit, we have a thick mattress but this pad fit over it really well.Another thing bad is that this pad has only one time setting: auto shut off in 12 hours. That would be a point off right there because I like to have the heat on for only the first hour or two.Thankfully, because I had read the negative reviews I knew that blinking lights mean the controllers are dead so I didn't waste too much time giving this pad an opportunity to actually start working as advertised.I returned it to Amazon and bought another brand pad which has better control over the heat and time selections. I have hopes for it but seems like all the pads are made in China, probably all at the same one or two factories with limited or no QA/QC. Hope I am incorrect and we get one which works as advertised for a long long time....Cheers

The heated mattress cover is as described and I'm very pleased with the purchase. No more getting into a cold bed in the winter months. The preset button is a nice feature and warms the bedding. My hope is that it will last at least the 5 year warranty period.

Works very well but the real test is whether it will still be working in a year or two. I had a Beautyrest mattress warmer that failed after a year but their warranty is very generous and they replaced it no problem. This is why I came back to Beautyrest for this purchase.
