I recently had to move one of the litter boxes from my catio to my bathroom due to one of my cats felt threatened by a nasty old tomcat that's been spraying everywhere. His remedy was to pee all over the house Once the box was in the bathroom, he decided he must dig as deep as he can, do his business and then sling sand everywhere to cover it up. I've tried to get larger litter boxes with higher sides as he weighs almost 20lbs and he's been known to pee over the side of the box. When I saw this mat available as a free promotional I ordered it. I'm hoping this will help catch the flung sand and any spill overs from his piddling over the side. I got the largest size, it should be large enough to hang out over the sides to keep the sand off the floor. I also have one of those double layer mats that catches the litter to be able to pour it back in the box. Hopefully between the two of them I won't be walking on litter in my bathroom. I like that it is washable so I can throw it in the washer if he pees on it. Nice product.

The Beautyzoo cat litter mat is well made and does a good job at trapping litter. Our cats tend to fling litter everywhere when they bury their poo so the extra-large size of 32"x 45" is helpful at minimizing litter all over the floor. I clean my other mats by taking them outside and spraying them with the hose. Not sure how I feel about throwing one in the wash, so I can't speak to how well it holds up, but the Beautyzoo mat alleges to be machine washable. At $34 at the time of this review, it's a little pricier than other brands.

This BEAUTYZOO Cat Litter Trapping Mat is a great item to aid in keeping the area around cat litter boxes clean. It is made of strong materials, including a top surface that looks like an industrial-quality exterior-grade carpeting, and a textured rubber-like bottom to help prevent slipping. We got the large size (32" X 45") which has plenty of room for an extra-large litter box, a waste litter receptacle, PLUS a good-sized run-off area to dislodge and capture the litter from kitty's paws as they walk away upon completion of their "business".We have three indoor-only cats, so for a long time all the litter boxes were inside the house. Our latest addition to the household (Big Ralph), however, wasn't exactly in favor of sharing boxes with the other cats, which led to problems. Our solution was to take ONE of the indoor boxes and place it out on our screened-in covered patio. For some reason this solved the problems, and for now at least all is well again. Even though the patio is technically "outside", it's still a place we want to keep clean since we often walk barefoot therein. So this mat is really a big help keeping the litter off the floor. The robust construction should allow it to hold up to inclement weather also, because even though the area where the litter box is located is "under cover" rain can still be driven in with strong winds.

This litter mat is huge, which I love so I can put the litter box on it and there's still plenty of space for my cat to jump out onto it. It is well made and my cat likes to rub his paws on the texture of it too. It has cute paw prints on it, which is a nice touch. I only have one litter box, but I imagine this would be a game changer for multiple litter boxes. It also protects my floor from any loose litter or dust from the box. Awesome mat!

Had a smaller and older mat that was pretty much destroyed. This extra large mat is a godsend. The material is nice and soft ensuring our cat is comfy stepping on it, and the extra large size makes it convenient to clean since I can now take it outside and just dump all the mess. This feels solid and should last a long while so long as our little guy doesn't destroy it.

I was pleased with how large this was. I have a very large stainless steel kitty litter pan and I wanted something under it that would not only trap some of the litter, but also keep my wood floors from being scratched. I love the kitty paw on the front, it matches my mudroom / Kitty room perfectly. Wish it came in more colors. I could see using this not only under my litter pans , but also in places where I have food and water available for my pets. I am pleased with this order. Works well for my needs.

I have been looking for a new litter mat. Mine are either too small, or too large. This one seems just right. It is large enough to catch the litter when your cat exits the litter box, but not so large that it is unsightly. It has an attractive look, with cute paw prints on it. The material resembles carpet, more so than most litter mats, which is softer on paws. The waterproof back on it will protect your floors in case of accidents. It is easy to clean - just simply shake the litter off. The mat comes folded, and will retain slight fold marks for a while. It is also a little thin. My husband even likes this mat!
