My buddy and myself just did a brake job on my daughters new to here 1973 Super Beetle. We replaced the drum brakes in front with disc brakes and re-did the back drum brakes. this kit worked perfect and the car stops much better than it was before.

These are a nice replacement kit for drum brakes. However, the nail pieces that come with this kit are about 1/4" too short for my 1970 VW Beetle drums. I used half of them as they were just on the verge of having the springs all the way compressed when I twisted the locking rings on.

Springs came out different then oem stile and size. Product is of good quality and useful for the most part.
