It’s a thick topper but very soft and keeps us cool. The pockets are deep and fits thick mattresses. We don’t have any problem with it not staying in place.

I thought I was getting a cooling pad (ye olde hot flases) and I got a thick, poofy pillow top. I felt the coolness the first few nights I slept on it, now (after a few weeks) I have either adjusted to it. I am not noticing the coolness when I go to bed, anymore. But I'm not waking up in a pool of sweat, either. But that is me. We have the dual mattresses Sleep Number bed, my husband does not want the extra thickness, so I only got one, for my side (the left). You can see the difference in the photo.

I bought these for every bed in my house. They are soft, but not too thick. They feel cool to touch at first, but the coolness doesn't last long. I would buy these just for fit and softness. Any cooling they do provide is a bonus. They fit very well and stay put.

I love this mattress pad! I was worried it wasn’t going to be very good with it being so low priced, boy was I wrong!!! It’s good quality and so comfortable!! My husband and I are sleeping like babies!

Unfortunately I received this half opened and poorly taped shut with old looking yellowing tape and before I even opened the sealed package, you could see black and gray marks inside. Opening it there was a very unpleasant odor and even more dirty residue spots. Limited on time and accessibility to get a room ready so I’m going to wash and keep my fingers crossed that this still turns out well. Overall disappointed. It does feel heavy and has a slick cooling external feel.

This does add comfort to my mattress. It is not cooling and I was really hoping for this. No smell. It is thick enough and overall good to have.
