So, had some kind of leak in our Sleep Number bed... could be the mattress or the pump box. Only way to find out was to isolate one from the other. I cut the air hose between the mattress & control box/pump and inserted this 3-way valve such that, with one port open I could air up the mattress using the pump, then shut off the hose going to the pump with the same port thereby isolating the box. The second port was used to isolate the mattress (i.e., opened it and the pump port to air up the mattress, then shut both ports). The third port was used as an "exhaust" valve to let air out of the mattress if/when it was over-inflated. This worked well; turned out the problem was in the pump/box. So, I just aired up the mattress to the desired firmness, shut off the two ports, and was all done (might mess with the pump/box later, but not really necessary). Obviously this disables the ability to adjust the firmness using the Sleep Number remote, but how often do you actually adjust the mattress anyway. If/when necessary, I can do it manually using the ports on this 3-way valve. Oh, and some folks complained about having difficulty getting a 3/8" hose onto this 3/8" valve... the secret is HEAT! I used a heat gun on low for 1-2 minutes (move the heat gun often & don't' over-heat the hose, it can melt); the hoses slipped right on, no problem, then used the provided clamps to ensure tight seals. Excellent product at a good price (saved me 100's of $ by not having to get the bed repaired or replaced).

Gas was dripping after a year or 3, but then it stopped. I use this after a fuel pump for my generator fill up. Screw vibrates out on RV application, so thread lock it beforehand.

I needed this product to divert a drainage line, without removing the existing line. I was using this with standard clear vinyl tubing, and triple checked that the ID -inside dimension of the tubing, matched the OD - outer dimension of the valve ends and it all worked perfectly as planned. I used hose clamps to tighten down over the tubing and valve ends, once got them pushed on... and I must say, it is DIFFICULT to push the very snug tubing onto the valve end, but ultimately that's good because you want a tight connection - if the tubing is at all flexible, this fitting/valve should work well for your needs. I really like that it's solid cast brass and the valves are heavy duty and metal - it's maybe overkill for what I needed, but I didn't want to have to do this twice. The valve knobs are easy to turn and work very well. Great product!

It works fine plus you also clamps. No need to buy them, save you time from going out to find the right size to buy.

I used this to divert AC condensation collected and pumped to the outside and then will switch the effluent for a flow-thru humidifier to an indoor sump pit in the winter when there is a chance of a freeze outside.
