Application Scenarios
Usage of PU Tube
- Make sure that the cut surface of the tube is vertical, that there are no scars around the tube and that the tube is not elliptical.
- When inserting the tubing, it must be inserted to the bottom of the fittings. If the tube is not inserted in the end, it may cause air leakage.
- After the pu tube is installed, pull the tube to make sure that the tube cannot be pulled out.

Instead, I used it to repair the water dispenser line on my refrigerator. The tubing fit perfectly, proving to be an excellent alternative to the more expensive proprietary line offered by the appliance manufacturer.However, I did notice that this tubing has a tackier surface compared to the original line, requiring extra attention during installation. It's crucial to ensure that the tubing is fully inserted and correctly seated in the compression fittings. I learned this the hard way, as I initially ended up with a watery mess before getting it right.A significant advantage of this tubing is its heat resistance. This feature leads me to believe it will outperform the OEM part, which had become brittle over time due to the heat from the nearby compressor.The tubing's versatility was further demonstrated when I used it for an entirely different purpose. I had to remove water from the air chambers of an inflatable kayak that was left outside with the valves open.
