Simply soak it in clean water for 15-20 minutes, remove from water, pat dry and place in your brown sugar storage container or jar that will stay soft for up to 3-6 months, also be used to moisten baked goods, cookies, marshmallows, raisins and dry fruit. Use dry, without soaking, to absorb moisture and keep spices, salt, crackers, pretzels and chips dry and crispy.

These bees were great to add to my kitchen. The biggest thing was to ensure they’re completely soaked in water for a bit before storing them in your brown sugar container.

Put these into the 2 containers with light brown sugar and dark brown sugar, and overnight brought them back to consistency!You need to soak them in water for a bit so they absorb moisture, then just let them do their thing! Makes ‘bricks’ of brown sugar go back to normal like magic!

This only worked for a day. Then it actually made the brown sugar hard. You have to remoisten it frequently. And the sugar it was in contact with turned white. Too much bother.
