It's becoming increasingly harder to find little transmitters like this. It puts out a very clear and clean signal. Yes, it does transmit to the 87.5 to 87.9 signals. Some tips: this transmitter does not take high volumes to drive it. I have to put my laptop to the 34% volume setting on the headphone jack and an iPhone running a 3.5 adapter did not take a loud volume to push it either. I'm hoping it holds up for a bit. Will keep you updated. Thank you for the awesome transmitter. There is no plastic cover over the screen so please do not attempt to pull it off. After a few days of very in-depth listening, I can tell you all this transmitter does in fact have a clear sound. I can't stress enough this transmitter has a very low volume threshold so it's very easy to distort. I'd say put your phone to 20 to 30% volume at the highest and that should be OK. Also if you are able to and your radio goes this low, stay in the 87.5 to 87.9 range. Unless your area still has a low powered station on 87.7. That is because channel 6 is the same as 87.7 fm. Hope this helps someone out.7 month update:Still working good!!! Have had it on for a few hours and no problems. If you want to leave it powered on for a few hours, you can just leave it connected to a micro usb charger and it will keep transmitting. I have had it cover a whole house. The audio quality is very awesome, just as long as you don't overdrive it. 87.5 to 87.9 are good channels if you can use them.Year and a half update:This thing still works awesome! I use it for a PT 15 radio station and other things, and it still works perfect. Seems to get a few hours on battery. I leave it pulgged into a USB port on the computer and it can run for hours on end. Really hope this stays around for a while. This is an awesome product and little transmitters like this get harder to find as the years go on.

Good quality without sound distortion.I like the display, but it doesn't indicate charging when unit is off.4 stars because the USB charging cord it came with didn't work. Not a deal breaker since I have enough cords to charge it with. There's no directions so no indication on how long it takes to charge and how many hours of use on the battery.I do like that it can be used while plugged in to charge. My stereo has a USB slot so that works perfect.I also like that it has no thin little wires to go bad as plug is attached directly. One or two accidental tugs on the wire on my Scosche transmitter and then the wires became finicky plus distortion even with new batteries.Unit is smaller than expected. Range is rated at 5 meters/16.4 ft. Yet it reaches throughout my whole apt.Unit came in a box with no packing material. A padded/bubble envelope would've been better.Unit kicks out after 20-30 sec. if no music is going through it. Not convenient to have static go tbrough speakers while cueing up next song.Overall, I'm still very happy with it. It's still easy to use.10-12-20 UPDATE: Sound quality - Unit does not handle bass well for certain songs. It gets distorted. Not enough power, even when plugged in. This is my last cheap transmitter. It'll be worth it to get one with more power so it doesn't distort. At least when it's plugged in it doesn't kick out after 20-30 sec. if no music/sound is going through it.12-22-21 UPDATE: I've hardly used it due to above reasons and replacing it with a transmitter last year that plugs into wall outlet.I was still going to use it with my phone in the truck this year for Christmas. However, on a full charge, display lights up, but is otherwise dead. Troubleshooted also by plugging into known working cord coming from PC - nothing.

Replaced my prev FM Transmitter when wires became brittle, and prev FM transmission became scratchy. Prev one plugged into cigarette lighter to power it. Would store in my center console. After using it for 2 years, wires were bent/pulled, twisted/sat on etc, which means they would need replacing every year or two. Not so with this one! Its wireless, and unit plugs directly into phone 2.5mm port, with no wires at all. Note that because of this, YOU DO have to charge it with removable micro USB cable (included), but you have the option of doing that at home, and not have to bring any wires with you, which avoids wires getting damaged in your car. This is DEF a great option. I am guessing it lasts several hours on a charge, which is again, far preferable to having to charge it and bending/wearing out cord while you are driving. Only took about an hour to charge it to max at home, and it has lasted about (5) 30 min trips with plenty of charge to spare. It works perfect. NOTE: Got a little bit of feedback when I first plugged it in, because my phone vol was at max. Easy to fix. Just back your phone vol a few taps below max, and increase your car audio, and it plays perfect. Running it with phone vol at max may overwhelm the transmitter, which is understandable. Just like you wouldnt run a microphone at MAX if youre doing karaoke. Great little unit. Def HIGHLY recommend.Brand owner even reached out to me to make sure everything worked well, which is perhaps a first, out of hundreds of purchases on Amazon. I am very impressed by their desire to make sure customers are happy. If you have an issue, PLEASE, contact them first before leaving a bad review or returning unit, as returns badly hurt a seller's business record on here (I am an Amz seller myself). I GUARANTEE if there is an issue, if you contact them, they will help you out.No funds or goods were paid for this review. Just a kind nod to a great seller who cared enough to actually ASK if their product worked after they already got our business. A+
