Could a rank beginner cross-stitcher enjoy and learn from this kit? Definetly. If you were a confident person who isn't anxious about making misteps as you learn. This was my 4th or 5th cross-stitch set I've done this year, so I went in with a fairly confident attitude and grasp of the basics of cross-stitching. As a result, I enjoyed this set of cute designs.

This is such a nice cross stitch kit. The kit has everything that you need to make three different cross stitch patterns that are displayed in an embroidery hoop. I used to really enjoy counted cross stitch, but I have not done cross stitch in years, so I wanted an easy, smaller project to see if I still enjoyed counted cross stitch. I do, it is so relaxing and the patterns that are included in the kit are fun and easy to complete.The only issue that I have is that there is only one hoop in which to display the finished project. I assumed there would be three hoops, but that is what I get for assuming.

This set is great for learning how to cross stitch. The pictures are printed clearly and really help on where to stitch. My daughter is 12 and she is able to do this on her own. Very fun teaching tool.

This is great for a beginner. Instructions are clear and easy to understand and it comes with plenty of material to be used. The needles are a little to thing and break easily unfortunately and the cloth material is so thick and firm, it's hard to get into the ring bc it has absolutely no give.

Cross stitch, cats and plants… what isn’t to love about this? I have cross stitched in the past, but the back of the design always looked like a mess because I didn’t stitch correctly. I ordered this to refresh myself on the technics. This kit has everything you need to get started in cross stitch. The only thing I would add is two more hoops so all three pieces can be displayed at the same time in the same manner.
