Nice, with some flaws.The picture shows the sample piece on the left, and the original on the right.Note that there is a slight curve to the trim.I machine washed (cold) and dried (low) the sample piece. It came through with no damage or color-bleeding. About 10% shrinkage loss.The color shown is Red, which is more of a deep cranberry.Very attractive trim, but the curve might be tricky to handle.Would make lovely curtain tie-backs.Three Stars: Adequate (It would get 4 or 5 if it weren't for the curve.)

I ordered this wide gimp trim in the light coffee color, which is a rich shade of rust with a gold center and gunmetal gray lacing. The rust color is gorgeous and should enhance any historic costume or home dec project. The trim is a bit stiff, so keep that in mind if you do plan to put it on clothing. Given the width of the trim, it will certainly have a visual impact wherever it is used!
