My main use so far has been transferring photos, video, and sound files from camera and sound recorder to my new USB C iPad.It works perfectly, and having the card slots right on the hub is very convenient.Good quality gadget, reasonable price.

Rather than buy the numerous dongles required for wired headphones, camera SD and microSD cards, and USB drives that work with the new Apple iPad Air M2, I opted for the Belkin hub that supports all those features and devices. The hub provides 2 USB A connections, a micro-SD card slot, an SD card slot, a 3.5 mm phono jack, an HDMI slot for a monitor connection, and a PD 3.0 USB C power connection. The USB A slots, the SD and microSD, and phono jack all work without additional power. Using the PD 3.0 connector to charge the ipad and/or use the HDMI slot requires at least a 30 watt plug connected to the PD 3.0 connection. The hub does get hot when power is connected to the PD 3.0 connector.On the whole, the hub meets my needs, so I’m satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this device in order to add some functionality to my Mac mini, since the Mac mini has a pretty limited number of ports. It worked great for 5 months and then didn't.The problems started when the on-screen pointer controlled by my mouse suddenly changed. It became very tiny and offset, permanently misaligned. It became very difficult to use my computer this way. I tried everything I could to correct it. Then it occurred to me to disconnect the Belkin hub. That was the issue. Once I disconnected the hub everything returned to normal and stayed that way. When I reconnected it then the same problem would immediately occur. i repeated this process several times to confirm the problem.So I cannot recommend this product. It was a waste of money.From this point forward I am updating this review.I contacted Belkin customer support about their failed product. I was eventually connected with an agent in what sounded like a very busy call service in India or Pakistan. After requests for information and proof of receipt i was told that I couldn't be helped. When I protested then the agent said he would contact his superiors directly and get back to me. This was likely a scripted response.The agent eventually got back to me with the good news that I was approved for a replacement. This all turned out to be a run-around performance and a further waste of time for me.I received a link through which I was supposed to apply for the product replacement. The link took me to a window on the Belkin website where this product was being sold. It was then that I realized that I was not being offered a true replacement, only the opportunity to purchase the failed product again but at a discounted rate. This was all just a means for Belkin to make more money on a product that failed me. Pretty gross.I emailed the customer service agent to make sure that a mistake wasn't made. No response.So, not only can I not recommend this product, as it was a waste of money and also time, but I also would discourage anyone from doing business with Belkin given their poor treatment of customers.I would give lower than a one star review if it was possible.

Como la mayorÃa de los productos Belkin, este HUB es el complemento ideal para las MacBook con puertos USB-C.El adaptador funciona muy bien para todo tipo de dispositivos USB, la conexión es rápida y estable según la versión del protocolo que se use. La salida HDMI y el lector de tarjetas SD también funcionan correctamente. Un gran detalle es que el color del HUB es exactamente igual al Space Grey de las MacBook.El HUB eventualmente se calienta un poco pero es algo normal.

I bought this for my wife for her home workstation, along with a 65W USB-C PD power adapter. It is a competent one-plug solution for her - 4K monitor, keyboard and webcam - and it has not failed to connect and work as it should over the past 3 months. She has the ($$$$$) Surface Dock at her office, and I didn't want to buy another one as those are really expensive. She kind of sneered at this at first because it's not nearly as attractive or slick as that unit, and has a shorter connection cable so not as elegant, but it's entirely functional which is exactly what I hoped for at this price point.
