I bought a used bike, that ended up getting a flat pretty quickly due to a very cheap tube. I did a bunch of research and discovered these and they work wonders. Unlike other tubes, I don't encounter air loss with these when the bicycle is sitting. I can't speak to the self sealing ability as I haven't encountered a flat, but based on a lot of research, I can confidentially say when I do, these will have my back!

Cut one by mistake and it didn't seal. Pretty funny; not inflated. But for the price, this is great buy. Yea, those 29er are an interesting experience. Just say stick with the 27s and down. U'll be happy.

Worth the money self sealing I've in all the brands if tryed is hit or miss but I have gotten few flats with them.

My son ran over a staple and punctured his tube. I needed a replacement, and this one was available with same day delivery. You pay a premium for self sealing tires that include some sealant liquid in them. The premium for these was lower than others while still being from a respected brand and what looks like a quality inner tube. Changing the tire was easy, and he was back in the saddle with 24 hours without having to visit a bike shop.

I put my son on a bicycle. Less than a week had passed before the tube got a hole.The hole was not on the outside, but on the inside along the wheel rim, and there was no visible reason for the hole. The hole is big, three or four millimeters, water is coming out of the hole and some paper is crawling out.At the site of the hole the rubber itself is very thin.
