I'm very happy with this item. I chose a from scratch recipe. Waffles came out very high or fluffy. This recipe reminded me of French donut quality. Maker was easy to clean, worked well and took up very little space in cabinet.

I got this to replace a very old Cuisinart single waffle maker that had lost its non-stick ability. I'm just a single person that makes enough waffles for me and am not feeding a family. The first thing I noticed is this thing is big and makes a lot of waffles. One batch and I'm done. But it cooks them very nicely. Big, deep waffle pattern, even cooking, there is no temp control but it's always done when it says they're done. Love it. Definitely recommend.Two things I'm not thrilled about - as with most of these waffle makers, they aren't easy to clean, and this one is no different. I spend more time cleaning it than actually cooking. But I think that's par with non-removable grids.The only thing I question is the very flimsy latch that holds it closed. It's designed and built poorly and is always in the way. Since one nasty look and it would probably break off, I might just quicken it's demise. I have no reason to lock the two halves together while its nestled in the cupboard.

This was a great value ... for belgian waffles it's great !! But I bought it for leige waffles and the heat was not quite hot enough to melt the sugar without leaving it to cook longer and risk them drying . It also cracked the plastic on the handle due to the pressure of the steam from baking. But still usable and works just fine.. makes nice thick even belgian waffles for under 20 bucks !

First purchased this waffle iron back in Aug/24. After a few uses, the plastic on the handle broke. Was still within return window and was able to have a new waffle iron sent in Sept/24. Was used a few times over the next couple months. On about the 4th use, the plates stopped heating, therefore we were unable to make the waffles. Tried to contact the company and never heard back from them. Now stuck with an unusable waffle iron and had to pay to buy a different one from a different company. Save your money; do not buy this waffle iron.

Wanted a waffle maker for a while now, so got this one for us for Christmas! So far made two batches and they turned out fantastic! Makes very large four waffles at the time, still working on a right ration so there are no holes on the sides.Wouldn’t call it easy to clean but generally if you don’t have a bunch of stuff go wrong just a wipe should do.

I’ve been looking for an affordable, no mess true Belgian waffle maker for a few years now. I’ve tried different models and brands before buying this one by Bella. The waffle maker is heavy duty, with good construction and materials. I made a batch of perfect waffles on the first try, and have been making them consistently since. They come out as good as a more expensive waffle maker, like Breville. The 1400w plates heat up quickly and the temperature is just right for cooking the batter right through with a golden crust. Very happy and satisfied with this purchase.

This is a well made unit, but the only difficulty is learning how to gauge the proper amount of waffle mix to place in the four squares without over or under the proper quantity. Still learning how to get it right. Other waffle units I have used had better overflow designs that were more forgiving than in this unit. But this waffle maker is great for small families, is compact for storage purposes and does produce very good waffels when the instructions are followed.
