Great value! I confirmed the slide is detachable and can be on either side. That was a key part in the purchase because of the size of my daughter’s room! The installation will easily take 3-5 hours and you’ll need two people and a GOOD screw driver - power drill would be nice to have as well.

Will only need a second person to hold up one end of the railing when connecting header and footer. Otherwise, just one person can put it together. Might be meant for a child, but it's being used by a teenager in small room and they put their dresser bins under the bed. It's quite sturdy. I recommend this bed.

Cracks on the slide and a bad paint job on the bed. Not good quality for the price.

Bought 2 of these for my grandchildren. They have built forts underneath them with pillows and blankets. And they enjoy sliding out of bed.

The mattress is above the rail. Nothing like the photo. Doesn’t feel safe at all without a railing. My kid won’t be able to sleep in this bed
