REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
• SENSOR Mode : Light will initially turn on for 30 seconds & then goes off if no motion is detected. If movement is detected afterwards the light will turn back on all through out the night.
• 75% CONTINUOUS Mode : Allows for continuous illumination at 75% brightness until deactivated by pressing OFF button on remote control.
• STROBE Mode : Activates Strobe feature. Will automatically turn off if no motion is detected and on again if movement is detected afterwards.
• OFF Button : Forces device to turn off until one of the buttons is pressed again.

I saw this product on TV and ordered it from Amazon. My back door has a light over the porch, but I don't want to leave it on all day. I needed something that would come on when I got home and light up the steps. There are motion lights around the corners of the house, but none on the steps like I wanted for safety. I thought this would be perfect. I was surprised the box was so small, but it unfolded into something larger. I put the stake in the ground and left it off for a day to charge. The next afternoon, I turned it on and waited until dark. I walked outside and started down the steps and they lit up. Even better when I came home after dark the next night, it lit up when I pulled into the driveway and lit my way into the house. For under $30, this was a great buy!

Not worth the $40 for this light the ball baron joint that holds it quickly disconned & light wouldn't work, switched on button made sure the light was clean it wasnt functioning it was defected. i won't purchase any other further, very disappointed so don't waste your money for short term use....

Not quite as bright as the video appears to claim but a quality product that is not expensive. I bought another one for extra coverage. Great price and very easy to install.

It worked for just about 1 year, (compared to its warranty period of 10 years). Amazon connected me with "Emson" the seller, who connected me to Bell & Howell. They did send a replacement unit promptly, but alas the replacement unit didn't work at all. I contacted Bell & Howell support again, to request a replacement for the replacement. CSR said she would work on it, but I never received the second replacement. Sent several follow up emails to customer service, they never responded. They folded their tent and that's it.Don't buy it.

The light sensor doesn’t go very far so the light will only turn on when you are right in front it. You almost need to touch the unit.Also it only stays on for 30 seconds.I prefer it to stay for longer periods of time. It would be better to have adjustable timing.

Easy to install. Works great. The lights are not as bright as the commercial on TV.

Bought these lights five years ago and have outside my house all the time and they are greatApart from issue with the piece that went into the ground that was easily fixed with some glue I cannot fault these lights

I have had these lights now since April 2021 and they are still going as strong (and bright) as originally purchased. They have survived all seasons....cold winters to hot summers. They did come with remotes (for options, if i remember correctly), but i just wanted them to turn on when the critters came onto my yard so it was super easy to install. The only issue i have is pushing the pegs into the soil, you need to take care that you don't break either the peg or the part that goes onto it. Otherwise, i would highly recommend this product. It won't disappoint.

I initially stated how impressed I was with it's 10 year warranty, but when I applied for the warranty, it involved returning the defective item at my expense which cost more than the item was worth making the warranty worthless. They may as well give it a 20 year warranty because unless you live around the block to return it to them you cannot take advantage of the warranty. It does function well when it works and I did purchase another before they replied to me, but it's unlikely I'll purchase another. This is a throw away purchase if it ever fails.Initially, I said it served my needs for almost a year now, although last night it came on and remained on and I was not able to operate it with the remote. Had to manually turn it off but it would not turn back on. Having contacted customer service it appears it carries an impressive 10 yr. warranty. Battery in remote was changed, and both the old and new batteries showed 3V. I suspect the eye sensor has failed or the printed circuit board itself. It was a reasonably priced well serving product. I will re-purchase this product again regardless of the replacement warranty.As stated previously, this product was replaced under warranty. Before I was able to secure a replacement I purchased another one in July of 2023 before I received a warranty replacement. It is now March 2024. This last one I purchased has now failed as well and I will put the warranty replacement in it's place. Given the hassle I went through with the warranty, it's not worth the hassle to try and get a replacement again. This will be the last one I will purchase. Nice product but it's incapable of living up to even a year warranty.
