Before making my purchase, I went back and forth between the acrylic dome lid or glass. I finally opted for acrylic and so glad that I did. The lid is light and so easy to lift that there is no concern for a heavy glass lid being dropped AND it is so clear, that without touching it, you would think it was glass. My baked goods display so beautifully and make a great presentation when placing it on the table for dessert. And yes, I also ordered it with the revolving wood plate and so glad that I did. After all, when cutting a cake as you slice each piece you have to turn the place anyway to make a new cut. Since this does revolve, when lifting to move, I grasp just under the edge to prevent it from turning. I expect more of these to sell as everyone asks .....Where did you buy that!?

This stand is just perfection! The "footed" part that hold sauces is removable and not screwed to the platter, which allows the platter to also rotate when used as a cake stand! The 2-in-1 does it all.My dome is in glass as I had another 12" stand (all in glass) that broke, but as this wood stand is also 12", the glass dome fits it perfectly. I have kept the acrylic dome in case I need it in the future.

Only gave it four stars cause I wish the dome was glass. Otherwise works well. Made well. Size is just what I was looking for.

Really like this pastry stand. I like to bake a lot of our breakfast muffins and things and they look nice in this. I’ve gotten compliments on it. It turns nice, the lid does show lots of fingerprints and things but I guess that’s just kind of what happens with clear things.
