This rack is made from wood that is painted with a high gloss shine. It's very nice if you like glossy but you don't really see this aspect since it is tucked away deep in your closet. the unit has hooks that can be rotated to increase separation between belts or ties. I use them for ties so that reduces the capacity. I just hook my ties onto each j-hook and swing the hook out a nit so that the tie is more visible to me when selecting a matching tie. It's incredibly useful for this purpose. I used to use a hannger or sorts to drape my ties, but the bottom ties were hard to see and they would slide around the hanger bar quite a bit. This rack eliminates that hassle and solidly presents all my ties to me for viewing. I am not sure how the hooks or hanger are attached to the wood base, but I can twist the hooks and hanger quite a bit and they don't twist out. So far, the rack is holding up well and does a good job of hanging my ties.

Love organizing my belts this way. I can see and access them much better than the way I had them before. No more digging through the big canvas basket they were all thrown in before, no more dumping them all on the floor to find the right one. Very heavy duty, a lot of my belts have heavy metals, and even with each hook filled this hanger stays secure and solid. This organization has taken some of the stress out of my morning routine so I highly recommend it if you have room in your closet!

I needed to find a place for the belts in my closet. I saw this on Amazon and was glad I ordered it.It holds all my belts wide and slim and, it's easy to take off the hook and replace the belts.So glad I found this and as always ,if you can't find it on AMAZON you probably won't find it!!

I didn’t use this for belts, but for my necklaces and bracelets, it works perfectly, no more necklaces in a jumble, I have them in my closet where I can access them easily.Perfect!
