Bought this part 2years ago for my 2012 Corvette. It broke today while I was driving on a freeway

Ok, knock on wood. I been dealing with my belt squealing/chirping, plus coming off for years. I put this on and quite as can be. I am so excited and I will say this is one of if not best product I ever purchased for my vehicle. I spent over $2000.00 with mechanics, heck probably over $3000.00 over the years with reoccurring issues with the serpentine belt on my modified Jeep. I was so frustrated I looked around for tensioners on the internet then on Amazon and found this mechanical tensioner. I put it on and it took less than 30 minutes myself and the noise went away. Seriously, about to cry that I am soo happy.. I 💯 recommend this product

Functional and aesthetically pleasing. You can really see the difference between the stock one and this. I highly recommend.

BEWARE: When you install this tensioner on a 2010 and up Camaro. The belt recommended to use in the instructions as of 10/10/2022 is GATES # K060827 for 2010 and up Camaros. That belt only works on the 2010 thru 2012 Camaros. After I called Comp Cams on the phone, they told me to use GATES #K060790 on 2013 thru 2015 Camaros. Comp Cams said future instructions will have the updated belt numbers that I listed above.

Well made and does the job

First off the OEM mounting bolt will not work , they are to short then the OEM belt is too small . Tried calling the manufacturer but could not get through . POS!!!!!

Has this on my first vette and now my 2nd. It's so simple to install 2 bolts. The a 15mm wrench for the tension bolt and a simple ratchet on the actual bracket, it has a cut out. Pull the belt tight and done
