It doesn’t get any better than this fabulous gold trim. My wife’s ecstatic to have this, to embellish her self-designed elegant nightwear. And I get to look at it – hurray!

Extremely hard to work with, stiff, distorted the look of the fabric. Also Amazon delivered to wrong address, had to walk around neighbors houses to match delivery photo, looked like some old lady porch pirate !

Basically, $1/yd sounds fair for this kind of trim, it's not a particularly great deal. It's shiny and a bit loosely woven, be sure to tape it before cutting as it shreds quickly. I'll actually probably end up covering it with bias strips to make my own piping since it's easier than just wrapping cording (since the presser foot has purchase on the stitching ribbon), and it's actually not a bad deal for that.
