When I'm designing a garment, I like to accentuate the seams with either top stitching, edge banding, or piping. This twisted lip corded piping is really nice for working with finer fabrics. It is soft and flexible but has no stretch. The fibers have a slight sheen often seen with polyester. Easy to insert into a seam. The solid black color is universal and compliments nearly everything. Polyester means it will not fade with washing. Quality of manufacturing is excellent. Quantity makes for a good value.SEW LIKE A PRO

Very cheaply made. Piping is twisted around the spool and unusable as it is. May attempt to press the seam allowance portion of the piping, but it's so thin and it looks like it may melt. I have been sewing for decades, so I'm familiar with products and the quality that I expect when I invest so much time in a project. Do not recommend.
