I typically don’t leave reviews for items but from experience, this is wayyyy better than the generic plastic tool from your local auto parts store. The hinged design makes it easier to actually get it on the lines and the rigidity of the metal construction makes it easy to remove the lines. Less than a minute to pop both lines off.

This might work for other GMT800 heater lines but not for mine.

My husband thought we were screwed trying to get the brokwn tip of this hose off to replace it. We didn't have to worry after getting this tool.
