This area rug has good weight to it and has a durable backing that is a rubber-like plastic to prevent slipping. It stays flat to the floor and is unlikely to kick up or curl over. It is 4/10 inch thick with denser than average looped synthetic yarn. It can be swept or vacuumed and is easy to maintain. It seems stain resistant. ( I previously tried a cotton rug, but it was rapidly stained by dirt and would not vacuum clean.)This was shipped with folds, but those flattened out easily within a day or two. I did not bother to use an iron or hair dryer to speed it up. It just wasn't a problem.I recommend this as a great value. It is nice looking, stable to walk on, and should be durable.

I bought this rug to put outside of my cat's litter box because he was always tracking litter everywhere. The rug is good quality and I have had no problem with it slipping. You can easily move the rug if you need to, but it doesn't slide around a lot with regular use. The description is correct in that it is a good dirt trapper, or in my case litter trapper. Any litter my cat tracks outside of the litter box get trapped it the carpet fibers and does not get tracked throughout the house. However, sweeping the rug is a breeze and anything caught in the rug sweeps up with no issues. The rug seems to be heavy-duty and well made, so hopefully it will last a long time. I have not washed it yet, so can't comment about that. I do agree with other reviewers that I wish it came rolled up instead of folded into squares. That left a lot of fold marks in the rug. I did see that the description of the product told how to get the folds out, but I did not try that. Where I am using it, I don't care if there are fold lines visible. I will say though, after a week or so of use, and sweeping it a few times, the fold lines are starting to disappear on their own. I am happy with the rug and I'm considering ordering another one for my front door to trap any dirt brought in from outside. I would recommend.

I ordered this rug in the 36"X60" size for our indoor entryway. I had looked at a lot of rugs and was not finding the quality I wanted for this high foot traffic area. It came in just a few days, and as soon as it was unrolled, I was really pleased with the quality! The loop fabric is dense and just what I was looking for. I ordered the taupe, which appeared somewhat dull online, but the actual color isn't dull at all. There are 3 shades of brown : khaki, with flecks of dark brown & rust. The overall look is perfect with all our wood trim. It is thick enough for a good feel, and the non slip bottom was a must have. Also, compared to everything else I looked at, for this quality the prices are great!!I quickly reordered more... another one in the same size plus the 20X32 and 24X60 runner. I would definitely buy this again. My only suggestion is that they offer the larger size in more colors, and also make in a 48"X72" size.

You sent instructions explaining how to get rid of this annoying fold, which make the product not ready for use out of the box. The methods are either wash it and let it dry withiut creases or a method using an iron and a wet towel for 15 minutes. Will those work for sure?The reason the mat is folded is explained- you can fit many more mats folded than if they were rolled. Other than that, it seems to be a good enough appearing mat.Edit: the company saw my comment and kindly offered me a full refund. I accepted half only as I decided to keep the rugs in place and had removed the attached tag. I added a star as well. They look nice where I placed them. I will not actually see if the fold has disappeared until I visit that location again in a month. Very nice customer service- thank you.

Thickness, durability, ease of cleaning using a vacuum, great non-slip backing, color is as pictured and lays flat. Arrived folded, but the creases flattened within a week. So far no issues using it as an entry way mat.

No issues with clearing door threshold. Crease down center disappeared within a drew days of use. Durable. Great value for the money.

Every time the dog ran down the stairs and hit the front rug it crumpled I. Front of the door and had to be straightened out. Not this one. Looks nice, door has no problem clearing and does a great job with wet boots. Great product.

The mat came with the advertised crease as seen in the photo, but the cat didn't mind. Instead of messing with an iron and wet towel I used a hair dryer on the high setting and used it on the back/under side. I moved it back and forth over a small section at a time and then stepped on it to flatten. It worked fairly well, and if I'd wanted to do a perfect job it probably would have flattened out completely. As it turned out the crease was mostly gone with this method and went away completely after a few days of coming and going over the mat. Three stars for the added time and effort to get the crease out, otherwise the mat is OK and might have gotten 4 or 5 stars.
