These were pretty simple to install, and do not slip at all!We have children ranging from age 12-2 and we have had absolutely no problems with them doubling up, or coming off.And my 2yo likes to slide down the steps on his butt.They're also pretty soft. A nice upgrade from the old vinyl treads we had when we purchased our house.

I had read reviews that the backing was hard to remove but did not find that to be the cast at all. Easy to remove backing to reveal the sticky part. They adhere well and look/feel good to walk on.

These carpet stair treads look fantastic, stay in place, wash really well and most importantly, they make going up and down the stairs very easy for elderly pets. But they also feel much nicer underfoot for us humans compared to the bare wood treads.They are also fairly priced for the quality. So we highly recommend these.

I am so happy with these carpet treads! Our dogs were having problems slipping on the hardwood stairs in our house and started getting too scared to use them. We couldn't possibly carry all 3 dogs up and down the stairs everyday, so we were getting desperate for a solution when I stumbled upon these. They work like magic! If you follow the directions correctly, they are simple to install and have not moved at all in the 5 months we've had them. They have escalated the look of our stairs and they're easy to clean as well. Our cats have had lots of zoomies up and down the stairs and these haven't tripped them as they lay perfectly flat. If you're on the fence, just give them a try. You're going to love them!

These are amazing! I had never even seen such a thing and I fell upon these in Amazon, and decided to try them to keep the kids from slipping on our steps. AMAZING! They have been on our stairs since fall of 2024 and have held up perfectly. They stay right in place and when using the hand held vacuum, they vacuum up nicely looking brand new each time. I LOVE THEM and highly recommend them for appearance and functionality.

So I purchased these carpet treads because I just had my wood floors refinished and they are slippery. My dog was afraid to use the stairs, and this definitely solved the problem. They are absolutely well made, very high class looking and beautiful! However, what should've taken about an hour, took about 3 hours. The plastic film on the back is absolutely a nightmare to deal with. When pulling it, it shreds and you wind up having to pull off several small pieces; it takes forever. Other manufacturers plastic film just peels off with one pull...but not this one. The treads absolutely stay in place; they have not moved even with daily use. There is no sticky or tacky residue on my wood stairs at all I am glad to say. I purchased the taupe color which is pretty true to it's description. It's very neutral. The "greek key" border elevates its look and is unique. I have not washed them yet, but they are supposed to be washable. Now that the hard part is over and I don't have to go through the plastic removal, I am happy with my purchase. But because of that bad inconvenience, I might look elsewhere If I need to purchase something similar again. So, because of this, I deducted one star. Otherwise they are really functional and beautiful and a very good quality.

Love these!! I have steep and slippery stairs that I have fallen down before and have always been looking for something I can do to make them safer. A family member recommended these and I couldn’t be happier with them! They were easy to install, they’re soft on your feet and they look great! They have a skunky smell when the sun hits them but that fades quickly! Definitely recommend for safer stairs!

These were easy to flatten and easy to adhere. They are non-permanent and washable. Taking the plastic liner off was interesting, but if you follow the provided instructions and take a hair dryer to heat up the plastic it works well enough. Pro Tip: focus on the seams and corners and always rotate the mat so you pull towards you. This reduces the likelihood of tiny shreds of liner being irremovable. My partner and I did this in tandem and it took about an hour. The dogs had a great time, and like not slipping while going downstairs. I like the damage from their claw marks being hidden and the facelift it gave this part of my house without having to pay for carpet to be installed. Win-win!!
