I love this quality silver lure that I use for anything from inshore fishing trout, fishing in lakes. Summer flounder tend to love this lure and for a long time I’ve kept a secret, but I’ve decided to let the world know the truth about this lure. This spoon seemed extremely promising for a slow retrieve over a weed bed in search of pickerel, however, the lure came with its weed guard beneath the hook, nullifying its weedless nature. Maybe mine was just defective, but if they are all like that I can’t really reccomend it. Asides from that, I did catch a meaty pickerel, it just wasn’t from the weed beds as this cannot be fished in weeds.

I’ve been using the Berkley Johnson Silver Minnow for a few fishing trips now, and it has quickly become one of my go-to lures. The design is simple yet effective, and it has a great action in the water that attracts a variety of fish. I’ve had success catching bass, pike, and even some trout with this lure.The silver finish is durable and holds up well against wear and tear, maintaining its shine even after multiple uses. It’s also versatile, working well in both freshwater and saltwater environments. The weedless design is a huge plus, allowing me to fish in areas with heavy vegetation without constantly getting snagged.The only reason I’m not giving it a full 5 stars is that it can be a bit tricky to get the right retrieve speed to maximize its effectiveness. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s a fantastic addition to any tackle box.Overall, the Berkley Johnson Silver Minnow is a reliable and effective lure that I would recommend to any angler looking to up their fishing game.

I don’t know why it is but as far as seedless spoons go, I catch way more on the Johnson’s than any other brand, so I get the johnson ones
