Awesome line, I have been fishing with very finicky native trout and they can sense anything un natural but this line is very stealthy. I rigged it up on my whole reel, but some people use it as a leader line.

Very high level of memory curl. Doesn't stretch like XL mono, so it can break off sooner than you think. But love the color. I put it on one of my baitcasters that will always have a crankbait on it, thus always tension. Don't try for plastics on a spinning rod rig due to its curling..

Bought 4lb test (orange) for an ultralight setup with enough for another reel. Great sensitivity on the ultralight setup and surprisingly strong on a heavier (medium heavy rod) setup. Pulled in back to back large mouth, 5 and 6 lbs, easily. I did have a nasty wind knot the next day, but I wasn't too worried. Cut it off and went right back to fishing. While the heavier setup was definitely for fun, it's not my original intention. Still super happy with the purchase and use with my ultralight rig.

This stuff is unbelievable in the 150 pound wight class. First 3 fish of the tuna season in Maine were landed and over the past 10 years Berkley Prospeck is my go to Florocarbon. I've used others in the past but dollar for dollar this stuff works!

I love this line, I use the 2lb for ultralight fishing with mainly 1/64 and 1/32 jigs and spoons and it’s perfect. After ordering like 10 spools from this listing I’m starting to realize the line is very inconsistent and some of the spools have rough spots all over the line and the line has bad memory. I’m gonna order it from Berkeleys website from now on.

Seems a bit stiffer than Trilene XL of the same test weight.

Use as a mainline when I'm float fishing for salmon, good stretch and can fight big fish.
