I used this fishing line to make a beaded purse (someone on reddit recommended this exact product). The purse is made of glass beads and is pretty heavy. I've been using the purse on special occasions for the past few months and I've noticed the smallest amount of stretch (approx: 1/16 of an inch per 10 inches) due to the heavy beads, but I'm impressed with the durability. I've noticed no deterioration or discoloring even though my bead purse is often in the sun, and I had no issues with it tangling when coming off the spool.

TL;DR Great for bead work. Myuki Delicas fit & line glides smoothly through. May need to add wax every once in awhile.I find this to be a better value then buying specific beading thread. This Fire line is very strong. I’m able to Peyote stitch with it, or even other weaving that’s putting a lot of stress on the line. Every now and again I add wax so it won’t have the chance to fray. This line becomes almost invisible when in use. So great coloring there. It’s thin enough that Miyuki Delica fit & glides smoothly.

What’s not too like about this product? It’s a smooth, fused, no stretch fishing line that is ultra strong relative to its diameter. It has no memory, lays beautifully on the spool, avoids wind knots better than any other super line I’ve used, and it is extremely sensitive. It also lasts a very long time. I’ve had wheels spooled with the same line for at least 10 years, and it continues to work. I use the 10 pound strength on my 2000 series reels, 14 on my 4000 and 5000 series reels, and 30 on my 6500 series reels. I’ve never been disappointed.

I am familiar with using this line in my bass fishing past, it was VERY sturdy, hard to cut and held up. So, they make a version for bead looming and bead work. This is cheaper but the downside is the smoke will rub off on fingers. So, if this is a problem, stick with the beading version of this line. But, you can get this in bulk and save!

Use 6lb Fireline for beading. These spools don't have the Beadsmith or Beadalon name on them, but it's the same line and you get 125 yards for only about $5 more than their 50 yard spools. Whohoo!

Fireline is my favourite for using with 11/0 delica beads when making 3D beading projects. It is very strong and doesn't knot or fray. The only thing I didn't like is some of the black rubs off onto my fingers, other than that, perfect for beading.
