New economical Bessey F-Style clutch bar clamps come with cast heads with powder-coated finish to resist corrosion and chipping. Bessey provides a zinc finished rail with a two piece clutch plate system for opening and closing the lower movable jaw. The Bessey clutch clamps are also provided with protective pads on both the top and bottom jaws and come with a comfortable wooden handle.

I have a plethora of clamps - but few that have beyond a 24in capacity. These 36in Bessey clamps were reasonably priced (and I have a number of other Bessey clamps that I really like) so I decided to give them a shot. They've been great! I mostly use them to clamp down face-frames during cabinet builds - and they've been great for that. To note - they are lightweight clamps (the shaft of the clamp isn't heavy or thick) so they will deflect a fair amount - but that's to be expected. You just want to be conscious of that deflection and counter it by reversing your clamp locations as you go - or simply being thoughtful about what effect it will have on the project.Cheers!

This is the best F style clamp that I have used. I I find These clamps Tend to Lose their grip. If you are looking for an F clamp, then this is probably your best choice. I suggest you consider the type of clamp that you want to buy carefully

I've been using clamps like this for 50 years. Bessey has always produced a quality product. At this price point, you can' too better.

First I’ve ever used a clamp as large as this. The table and bench came out perfect. It was a time saver and helped make things more accurate and level. Like having two extra sets of hands.

I bought this medium duty clamp last fall to repair the side of a futon/couch which had failed earlier. I used to to clamp the two sides together while I applied gorilla glue and for added measure some Kreg pocket holes. Over the last few months I've used it to repair a dresser drawer and most recently for a new platform for the water heater.My preference would have been to have a trigger style clamp but those are expensive for the small amount of repairs that I am doing. Next up will be a repair to a wall unit and for that I am ordering a 2nd clamp. I bought my first one at the local ACE Hardware for a few dollars more, but Amazon's price is even better.I used this clamp along with my first one to clamp so glued on shims for a project. Having a pair of them sped the process up considerably. I could not see any bending that others wrote of. For the money it's an awesome value

This are great light duty clamps at a great price. Other reviewers have complained that they are flimsy. I suppose so but only if your task is mid or heavy duty. These clamps have 600psi clamping force. For a few dollars more, you can get 36in clamps with 1100psi clamping force which are made with more sturdy materials.

Exactly as described. Perhaps not as sturdy as some I’ve seen but the others were much more money. I hope plan to order a few more, which will eliminate any issues I might have with the bars not being super sturdy...plus you can never have to many clamps 😠This is an excellent product for the price point.

I have a large number of Bessey clamps in this style that are a bit shorter and they have always worked well for all my projects. They always lock securely and are not too time consuming to position. The size of the clamp is not too excessive so they are easy to hang on a wall or stow away in your garage. This (3 foot) size is a necessity if you make cabinets or small home furniture as they will make a world of difference in keeping pieces together while the glue dries. I ordered these two times and noticed that 1 was missing the red anti-marring pad but that's a minor issue, both arrived and work great.

Very high value clamp made of steel bar, casting and plastic cap to protect. Very sturdy I dont feel I could break it by clamping too hardHad bad experience with plastic clamp which crack instead of bend, wont happen with this one.

These are easy to use and are very handy for general household projects - I bought them to glue my chair back together a they worked very well.
