An Osprey Triple...Do not have a pic in the racks. This is 20' long. Sits flush with the front bumper, overhangs about 6' in back. Not a problem for these saddles.Yup, it is big. Less than 70lbs. We do use a non-skid rug pad and an old thick woven rug strung over the rear cross bar to glide it into the saddles. Slides right in like they were made for this beast.Had to buy some longer bolts...would not fit on Xterra cross bars with the included bolts. Not a game changer, just a FYI for Xterra owners. Will continue to make Best Marine my first choice when in need of water travel accoutrements.

I have a Yakima rack that fits on my Honda fit's room using the tower system. However, when I go on vacation and rent a seakayak for a week or so, I can use this soft rack on the rental car or suv. I used it on either a prius or a ford ecoev and it worked wonder. I like the fact that I can also leave it on. I double strap the kayak through the car as I do not rely on only one point of attach and then attach the kayak to the rack. I never had to attach the front and back of the kayak but for very long trips on the highway, I would. Some who said that the straps are not good enough are wrong as they hold up pretty firmly the kayak in place. It is possible that with a canoe or sit in kayak (I used a sit on top), the wind get into the hull and pulls up especially if the nose of the craft is pointing up. Then, I would use a ratchet strap (which are pretty inexpensive). The padded foam is great to prevent scratches on the roof and especially on the sides of the roof. It is a pretty solid soft rack at a great price. NOTE: if it rains, it is normal that the straps will convey water that will drip inside the vehicle. All of these soft racks have that issue. Place a towel underneath it. That does not bother me, but I understand that if you have fancy seats, that could be upsetting. This is normal though and cannot be avoided as the straps will wick the water inside and once saturated, they will drip. Unless you replace the straps with some type of solid water repellent material, you will get some water inside the vehicle.

Easy installation as depicted in their video. It was pretty sturdy while traveling on the hwy with 20mph wind gust. As for durability, they could improve their stitching. Specially securing the "D" rings go the product, the straps runs through it and if you pull it tight, the threads tear and give way. You will need the rope to make sure your kayak does not lift or move side to side. We had to adapt and overcome. I will need to get a few "beanie" rings to secure it to the vehicle and tie rope to it vs tying to the frame. Rope could break with the rubbing.

Purchased a pair of these to mount on my SXS to make it easier to take my Kayaks to the river. I have 1" round crossbars which they technically do mounty to, but are not solid and tend to rotate. Would work better on an oval or retangul shaped cross bar that is somewhat flat and wide. It works for what I need but would not use for highway speeds without further securing them. These racks are fairly light weight. They are easy to flip up/down with the locking clips. I like how wide the mounts are as they give more stablity holding my kayaks how I have them configured. These can be added/removed as needed, however the knobs to mount are a little difficult to get to if you put them underneath the rack.I recommend them.

Installation was simple and they look great on the top of your rig. In the collapsed position, they don’t make any road noise. They are so easy to raise up and mount your kayaks for a great day on the water.

These are high-quality items for what I think was a great price. I bought some of their kayak storage racks for my garage and was so satisfied with the quality that I decided to buy 2 pairs of their roof racks for my 4Runner also. The vertical arms are very easy to raise and lower and lock securely. The kits also come with straps, rope, and two sets of mounting screws, which was really great because I needed the shorter ones because my factory roof rail is so close to the roof.

The pads feel more like plastic than rubber. I was hoping for a little more quality for the price but they do a decent job. It was able to hold my 95lb kayak (Old Town Predator) without any issues.

We installed this on a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform and not crossbars, but it went on easily and was perfect for our 18.5 foot kayak. It was solid on the rack and the boat was solid in the cradles. Tossed the boat up, drove 120 miles without issue. I'll be getting another one for the truck.
