My three year old granddaughter is loving this camera. It’s simple enough for her to figure out and use it. It has a good photo and video out put. Keeping her works on the memory card is a breeze. It’s built strong enough to handle the abuse of a toddler and the coating on the body of the camera helps with the non slipping of little hands. A medium size camera that is easy to hold and use. I like that she can use it underwater, she has gotten some very interesting shots. She actually has left my iPad alone since she got this camera. It’s also interesting to see the world how this three year old sees it through her pictures. It is priced very well for the quality of the camera and the enjoyment you can get out of it.

The most surprising thing about this little camera is that it works. It doesn't take a professional picture, but it takes an okay one, and the kids love it. It's easy to use and handle.

We purchased this camera for my son to take some underwater photos. It has some good and bad points, mostly, it's okay for an inexpensive camera but I think it tries to do too much.First the good. It's waterproof. The picture quality is okay. Not what you're going to see from a smart phone or decent camera, but for kids pictures, it does fine. It has these really cute frames that you can change around your subject as well as multiple frames in a single shot. It'll be fun for kiddos to play with these features and I look forward to seeing what my son comes up with. It also includes a data cable and an SD card. It connects to the computer flawlessly and easily downloads the images. My computer had no trouble recognizing the camera as a flash drive.Now the bad. First, the SD card is in this tiny slit on the top of the camera that a silicone gasket closes off to protect it from the water. I was unable to get my finger into the slot to extract the SD card and had to us a pair of tweezers to push on it and get it out as well as put it back in. Maybe it wouldn't be an issue for a kid, but since I'll be the one taking the pictures off the device, I found this was a little short sighted. Also, there are settings for games and for playing music. I was unable to get the music reader to work and when selecting the games, it would only take me to a game called "snake" that looks like it came off a 1980s game console. I was unable to get the controls to work and it would freeze on the game and would not return to the main menu. Same when opening the mp3 music player, it would not return to the main menu and I had to turn off the camera to get it to reset. Pushing the tiny reset button didn't help. Finally, the buttons are a little difficult to push which might provide some difficulties for little hands.Overall, I feel that this is an okay camera, but it tries to do too much. If you get it for a camera and not for the other features, then it's fine. I feel the age appropriateness for this may be closer to 5+ than 3+ based on my own kid. But more advanced littles may be able to handle the interface.

You can get a cheap digital camera for a kid in a lot of places. This one is worth a look, though! Not only does it take decent quality pictures (at least when the photographer is holding the camera still...), but it's also WATERPROOF! This is a HUGE deal in this house. We've lost more than one camera to a dip in the fish tank, bath tub, pool...you get the picture.Nice value.

My toddler likes holding the camera. She grabbed our phone/DSLR, used the camera function, and tried to take selfies, but the problem is she always dropped the camera on the floor. I got this kid's camera for her. It is better quality than I expected, not just a toy. The camera looks cute in a bright color. The case is a thick plastic, a good grip feeling. The best part I like is the screen, big and has fewer buttons, easy operation for young kids. Even butter, it is waterproof for accidents like dropping into a cereal bowl or soup.
