After reading some reviews, I was skeptical about purchasing this bedspread. I bought one that was listed as “like new†for $35, so it was worth a shot. So glad I ordered it! When I opened it, it looked flat and very thin, so I had my doubts. One of our extra bedrooms has a full size bed, so I ordered a queen size spread since it is made of 100% cotton. Since I needed it to shrink, I washed it in warm water and dried it 6-7 times on HOT. It shrunk perfectly! While drying, the lint trap filled up quickly! The lint gathered each time was so thick I could’ve spun enough cotton to make another spread. 😜. Warning, when I shook it out to put it in the washer, fuzz was flying!After washing and drying, the bedspread fluffed up and it’s so pretty. The thickness is just right to cover up with and if anyone needs a little extra during the cold months, I will have a quilt folded at the foot of the bed. I think the bedspread is really pretty! The color wasn’t quite what I thought it was going to be,but it’s so pretty on my bed and it’s just the right weight. So glad I purchased this bed spread! I have been looking for just the right one for quite a while:) Even my husband likes it and doesn’t complain about it being to heavy or to light.He always complains about things like that, for him to like and enjoy is quite the achievement! It is beautiful and soft and the design pattern is like one I have not seen before. Would definitely recommend.

Put this on the bed and thought it seemed thin. But overall thought it was pretty. Was on the bed less than a week, and woke up this morning with it split down the middle. Literally like someone took a knife to it. Very poor quality. I am so disappointed as it was pretty. Horribly made however. I am now waiting to see if they will return my money.

I ordered the chenille cotton bedspread in a dark sage. I was surprised to receive it in a pastel green. I can work with the color in my guest room since the room is mostly white. The material is exactly as described, lightweight, 100% cotton chenille. The king size bedspread is right, but pillow shams are standard, not king. I washed everything as soon as it came out of the package as it smelled of dye chemicals. Once shams came out of drier they had shrunk to a twin size! I expected some shrinkage as the material is cotton. I rewashed the shams, stretched them to a standard size and air dried. I ordered this bedspread in time to receive before I would use it, but it was delayed in shipping so there's no time to return and find another before guests arrive this weekend, so I've accepted the imperfections as the bedspread is more important and fits perfectly.

I haven't even opened the package all the way but I can see that it is nowhere close to the color it shows online. It is just a basic pink color.

If you grew up in a house with or your grandma had a bed covered with a bedspread from the 1950’s-1960’s, and you loved the comfort of the quality cotton they were made of, you will love this bed cover!

The color is ugly. Not at all what is pictured. The fabric is not good chenille. Already starting to shed quite badly. First time I have ever benn disappointed in a produce offered through Amazon. Package was in poor condition when delivered. Unable to reuse packaging and can not return.

I would give it a 10 if I could. It’s as beautiful as I remembered the ones I had in my childhood. Beautiful Colour. I ordered Queen for a double bed, as it reaches the floor. I don’t now what to say, it’s just beautiful. It’s thin, but heavy, if that makes any sense. I added pink and purplish throw pillows, and a beautiful pink and grey stuffed elephant, as well as pink, cream and grey curtains, not a plaid, but a gradual change of colour. It’s so cute! My grand daughter spent half her time on my bed the last visit. And she has great taste, she chose me as her “mamijoâ€, grand mother. I love it all.
