Great deal on this Pbass body. The wood grain was acceptable but not great. There were some small knot areas and the front side of the body had some low spots that were not level. Otherwise, with a fair amount of sanding it turned out looking very good. I used blue and black stains to color the wood in a blue sunburst and then sprayed 12 coats of gloss lacquer. After rubbing and polishing the body turned out very well and looked great. The routed area for the pickups and tone controls was accurate, as well as the neck pocket. The neck pocket accepted a neck from a Squier bass perfectly. I had to drill holes for the strap holders and the bridge (as these are not pre-drilled). Overall, for the price this was a great value.

Be careful with this body. It doesn't weigh much, but it is also super soft and susceptible to gouges and dents. I recommend spending a bit more for harder wood.

I received the body and the finish sanding wasn't done. Ok, because I can do that myself but still, maybe it would be nice to have that done. The biggest issue is that the cavity for the section that holds the pots and output jack is too big. I can remove wood but i can't replace it. I had to twist the pickguard a bit to make it cover the space but there are 2 holes in the pickguard that will not mount directly to the body and they're pretty critical holes for stability. I can't complain too much because of the price but next time I'll spend more and go somewhere else so I don't have to put a couple of hours in to fixing it. Finally, the body itself is thinner than a standard bass body so if that's a problem for you, move on to the next company that sells bass bodies.

Decent quality P-bass body. It was sealed so took an easy coat of yellow vintage poly. Came out looking good. Neck fit aftermarket neck tight.I would say this is well worth the price compared to the more expensive alternatives like MM or AP bodies. Wood looks to be bass wood with good grain. Was in 2 sections glued but hard to see the seam. Very happy with this purchase - would buy again.

Had to get creative with my pickguard as the route is off at the bottom by about 3mm, just enough to expose a hole. Neck pocket was fine. Wood is decent and what you expect at this price point.

This is a nice p bass body. Especially for the price. I've purchased 3 of these, one being a J bass, that turned out great.I took off one star because the last one wasn't packaged as well and arrived with a small dent in the edge. Might have been mishandled in shipping, but not so much as to return it. The other needed shims in the pickup cavity to bring the pups up to proper height.All in all, I recommend these.

Very good quality. You do have to remove the wood sealer if you want to stain it, but it wasn't bad at all. Overall happy with this bass body. Definitely worth buying for a project.

These are the same cheap bodies they use for Squiers before they paint them. There is no possible way to do a stain finish on these. Mine had wood filler and a horrible sanding attempt. Packaging that it came in was the worst I've ever seen. I can't believe it actually arrived here safely.Edit since buying and trying to actually work with it. The neck pocket was routed out a little less than 1/8" too deep. If I set the saddles of the bridge as low as I could on the E and G strings I could get it to barely work. Next I noticed that the top laminate layer was starting to bubble up in one spot and it was separating from the inner thick layer.
