Make sure you use this rest for olympic recurve only!If you are looking for a barebow rest, this is not for you

Besides the name, it’s very similar to the ultima; down to its rest arm. You need this if you’re going to shoot micro shafts to avoid the arm catching the plunger.

Does what it’s supposed to do once it’s tuned in. Only 4 stars because occasionally I need to readjust the arm because it likes to swing open after several shots. Don’t know if the more expensive brands do that or not. But it’s not that big of a deal, I only shoot for fun in the yard

If you shoot recurve, with a plunger, and use feather fletchings, don't use this. I thought it was my plunger ripping off the feathers. I removed the plunger and then the feathers really started to fly off. The cause is, that the hinge pops outward and the rest moves inward when the arrow is released. This causes the hinge to act as a razor across the arrow shaft, shaving off your feathers. I also found that the wire moves too much inward toward the bow and you have to loosen the Allen screw on the hinge, reset the wire rest to the correct position (outward slightly more than the thickness of the shaft), and tighten, only to redo this process after 3-4 arrows. Found shooting off the shelf to be 1000x better than this, and I hate shooting off the shelf

After the flipper is flipped, the other end of it lifts into the arrow path and often destroys vanes. Definitely not made for any fast bow. Poor arrow retention because of such a small wire arm.

The tiny metal arm rest hinge broke on my very first shot. My bow was out of commission for the rest of the day. Had to borrow a bow. Ya get what ya pay for.

The adjustment hex doesn't lock properly... It goes tight and then clicks and goes lose again. Having to retighen it every session. The rest arm moves as a result which can throw an end off in a round unless kept in check. Will be spending £35 on a Shibuya Ultima to replace
