The fit is slightly loose with my head circumference at 22.5 inches. There is no adjustable rear of head strap to secure the helmet to the head and preventing movement (this common to most bike helmets). It's slightly heavier than most helmets weighing in at 12.5 ounces. The interior circumference padding is thick and comfortable, but the top-of-head padding is only slightly below average quality and thickness..The chin strap is adjustable (forward & backward around ears), but the quality of the components of the chin strap are average or slightly below average. The strap snap buckle is not the standard type, but does seem secure enough. It is one single piece of molded plastic which is not layered like many others. The external (outer) surface has a pseudo-leather material accented with a chrome rim around the base and four chrome studs riveted thru shell to secure the straps..I decided to keep it as a backup helmet, but it wouldn't be my first choice for my only helmet. I do like the baseball-cap look -- and, with faux-leather exterior resembling that of a horse-polo style helmet. There are no ventilation holes in helmet, but uncertain as to cooling comfort aspects since I haven't worn it in direct sunlight.

Banana in photo for scale.Let's start off with the positives of this product. The PU leather and canvas exterior with metal trim is well done, stitched decently and over all looks and feels good. The helmet as a whole is minimal and slim. It is not bulky at all and feels more like a hat than a helmet when obtrusiveness is the focus.Now for the negatives. The padding is quite thin. The helmet would still help spread out the force of an impact but beyond that I wouldn't hold out hope. On the product listing it says it passed "CPC Tests" but if you want to see the test results OR the certificate then you have to reach out to them. That's a red flag, absolutely. Also I tried to look up what a CPC test even is and all I could find was "Children's Product Certificate".The only thing to hold the helmet in place is the chin strap, there's nothing that tightens around your head or anything, like in hard hats. That means if you want it to stay in place at all you need the chin strap to be relatively tight. That gets uncomfortable fast the more you tighten it. During my multiple test rides I either had the wind start to push it off my head or have to have the chin strap uncomfortably tight.The worst negative in my opinion is the strap buckle. It is made out of the thinnest, flimsiest plastic and is the sorriest excuse for a strap buckle I have ever seen. From the microscopic teeth that are supposed to keep the strap from slipping, to the over all lack of thickness or reinforcement. This thing is a joke and I don't expect it to hold up to any abuse or impacts. They seriously cheaped out on this part.It is priced cheaply ($20 at time of review) as well however so it's not terribly surprising. Overall it is better than nothing and I would prefer if my loved ones had this over nothing. If the buckle wasn't junk and the chin strap was more padded to make up for the lack of head suspension then I could recommend this product, but as it is I can't recommend it. It's a shame because the rest of the helmet is well made, which is why it got 3 stars instead of 2.

The size of the helmet is great, it doesn't squeeze on my head at all. It's also not uncomfortably heavy. The buckle works great, easy to remove with a single finger push. I like the design with different materials, the black top and front part of the helmet is leather like and the sides are a cool fabric pattern. It's all around a solid good quality safety helmet that I enjoy wearing while riding my bike and e-scooter.
