I purchased this rack because I needed to increase the amount of space I had in a hurry. For my space, I needed a vertical rack that could freestand. I had 2 options. One was $250 dollars, and this one. I went with this one as it was $100 less at time of purchase. It didn't have any reviews so allow me to be the first. This rack does the job. It does what it advertises it does... mostly (see #4). It holds bikes, it has tool hooks, it's stable enough for me, it works. But there are a few issues that deserve to be mentioned.1: The instructions, particularly the beginning, are horrible. They left me mostly trying to figure out assembly by myself. The pictures are confusing as well, and the part labeling was the worst I have ever seen. If you have ever seen IKEA instructions, these are 10x worse. Please be advised having a second person will make assembly a lot easier.2: My kit seems to have not come with the leveling feet for some reason. Which wasn't a problem for me, but may be an issue for you if your floors aren't super level.3: The metal arrived with a lot of scratches in the finish, and it scratches very easy, especially during assembly. Not an issue for me as I don't care about asthetics, but may be an issue for you.4: While the rack advertisement gives the dimensions, the pictures are deceiving in my opinion. It makes it look like 5 full size bikes fit comfortably. They do not, at least not in a way where they can be easily removed. More like 3 full size bikes will fit with a little bit of effort. Please keep this in mind. My suggestion is to take the rack width and see how many bikes you can roll up together side by side in that space, and that is how many will fit. You might be able to squeeze in more if you sacrifice mounting/unmounting ease.5: The hooks aren't the most confidence inspiring hooks I have seen. They seem adequate, but definity could be better. Particularly, they should be wider as they don't wrap around any of the bike tires I have, but it holds them well enough that I didn't return it. They seem to bend a little bit with our regular (non-electric) bikes. But they hold well enough. I would not be confident putting heavier electric bikes on them though. That all being said, it does the job well enough that I do not regret the purchase. If you need a cheaper option to store them, don't care about aesthetics, and have patience, this might be an option for you. There are surprising very little options available for freestanding storage that doesn't require mounting to a wall, and this is one of them. At the time of writing, it happens to be the most affordable I could find on Amazon to. It just could be a lot better with some small adjustments.

Box arrived with some damage. Once I started putting it together I realized many of the nuts/bolts were missing as they were loose inside the box and had fallen out of the hole during shipping. I should have returned the package, but had already opened it, figuring I could find the missing pieces (sunk cost fallacy). I ended up having to buy $15 of replacement bolts and nuts since I couldn't find the exact replacement size, but found it close enough to put the rack together.Overall it was easy to put together (once I had enough parts, of course) and is a fairly solid piece for the price. I configured it to hold 3 bikes, though it can hold 5 total (though would be super tight). I liked the flexibility to adjust the hangers lower so it's easier for the kids to hang their own bikes.

We have 5 bikes , always looks a mess on back patio. This is sturdy and holds the bikes upwards making the patio look neat and organize and leaves us more space.

This was fairly easy to put together, although at the end I needed another hand. The rack is good, but I think you can only hold 4 Bikes the 29ers just fit's

Make sure you measure your bike!!!!!!!! Fits my 26†and 27.5†with no problems, but is to short for my 29â€. I will by another, but add blocks to increase height.

While the concept of this product is quite nice, the design and quality is VERY POOR. The design is very primitive. Feels like it’s just made up of off the shelf parts. Hardware is very cheap. Bolts strip easily. Also MOST of the metal parts were severely dented or bent. Do not really recommend this especially for this price.

It's working and keeps bikes in place. The metal is a bit thin, and I don't think it'll hold up to much movement. I'm using for less frequently used bikes so it'll be ok, but I'd not like to have to mount bikes on it even weekly.
