Product Description

Road Bike Bicycle Tire Install Tool Bead Jack

Easy Road Bike Tire Installation

Repair flat tires or seat stubborn new tires with ease. Fiber reinforced nylon tool material is strong, light and won't damage or scratch aluminum or carbon fiber rims.

Portable bicycle bike tire bead jack

Folding Design Fits Easily Into Saddle Bag Or Jersey Pocket

Patent pending folding design allows tool to be taken with you on rides - where you need it the most. Most flat tires happen on the road, not in the shop. Shop tire installation tools are bulky and difficult to take along on rides.

I built a couple tubeless tires, and only then did I see this tool advertised. It's cheap, so I bought it for next time. Fast forward a couple months and I needed to replace a tire.It works exactly as promised. That's not true. It actually was easier than they made it look. It took about 10 seconds to get a feel for it and then wham! The tire was on. I hit it with 140 psi from my compressor and the tire grabbed instantly. Can't recommend enough. Have it ready to go the next time you need to put on a tire.

Simple useful tool, easy to carry and have available anywhere.Seems to work better for road bike tires though, not good enough to grab the bigger MTB tires. I still used my hands on the mtb tires.Saves the hand struggle. At this price, I'd probably buy at least two.A bit flippy to use at first. You need to get familiar with it.

Works well a bit flimsy but does the job. Have to use two hands to operate one to work the lever and the other to hold the hook in place. I had to press firmly to hold hook in place, even with pressure it wanted to pop off tire bead. Tool folds down but still a bit big to put in a seat bag. Other then all of that it made getting that last bit of tire on a lot easier especially on a tubeless tire and carbon rim combo. I say yes buy one it will be a nice addition to your collection of bike tools.

It may be compact but it doesn’t really work on beads with tires wider than road tires. Not a great purchase.

More compact than the full sized version that I owned before. I lost the original larger one because it fell out of my jersey pocket. This smaller version fits securely in a jersey back pocket. It does flex more and might not be as effective. Haven't had to use it yet.

I've used a non collapsible version of this tool for several years and they worked reasonably well. Therefore, I purchased the folding tool to put in my flat bag. Well, one of pinchers broke after using several times. The pincher are only supported at the attachment point allowing for a twist force on the smaller pincher, was a good idea!

Much needed tool for weaker hands. So many tires are nearly impossible to get on, at least for me. This tool is like a third hand, cutting installation time in more than half. Glad to have one

Not strong and imbalanced - hard to hold steady and apply load to, which is exactly what it should be good for.

This tool couldn't help me get some Continental Grand Prix All-rounder 25mm tires onto my new carbon rims, which had a 25.9mm internal width. If I pushed too much when trying to get the bead over the rim, one of the arms of the tool would splay out in the direction it's not supposed to bend, that is, along the edge of the rim, perpendicular to its intended axis. I feel like I wasted my money buying this. I'm not a bike mechanic and I didn't want to force things too much and potentially damage the rims, so I took the wheels to the bike shop instead. It might work for others, but it didn't for me.
