Mass produced and tolerances are incorrect. I had to take a die grinder to the inside and remove 30 thousands to get them to fit over the big ford “set 20†wheel bearing/seal combo. Really can’t figure out why its so hard to make retainer plates but from what i learned is there are plenty on the market that dont fit. The Strange engineering retainers are quality that fit forvnot much more money. I would NOT buy these again but beings how I already had them it was easier to modify then send back.

These plates are only 1/4" thick not 1/2". The galvanizing is a little lumpy. Not terribly impressed.

1/2" Axle Retainer Plates were not 1/2" thick. But they will work, just not as I had intended.

These are a perfect fit for my '78 F-150 with an old large bearing style 9". Slid over the axle and will make future maintenance much easier. As always these guys provide a quality product.
