Very comfortable I’m a big guy and seat is plenty wide and comfortable Large platform to stand on and the foot rest is another positive I recommend 3 people to get it set up just makes it easier When it’s strapped to the tree it’s very solid and quiteRecommend reading instructions because it comes with different lengths of bolts which I wasn’t a fan of I thought instructions could have been clearer but that’s meAs far as stand its self it 5 stars Pack a snack because if you’ve got stand in a good spot you will be comfortable enough to sit all day

Simple but hopefully review.Pros- Very sturdy, holds up well over time, comfortable seat, very roomy.Cons- Assembly is somewhat difficult you have to really pay attention to the sizes it calls for in each section. It’s light for it sizes but you’ll need help getting it up against a tree.Over all I would recommend this Stand. It’s very nice for the price and holds up to the weather if left up year around.

I purchased one of these last year and loved the comfort, so when it came time to purchase another stand, I didn’t hesitate. When the stand arrived, I laid out the parts and began assembling, only to find two support braces (Under support gussets) were missing. I continued with the assembly since it was during “non-customer service hoursâ€, believing I would call in the morning, and they would send them over the next few days. When I called, I spoke with Kaylee, who told me they were currently out of the parts needed. I asked if I could be placed on a list to have them sent when the parts were available, and was told “no, we don’t do thatâ€, but you can send it back to the place of purchase (Amazon) and get a refund. I shared that I had already assembled the stand, and didn’t want to disassemble it. I went online to purchase a 3rd stand (you really can’t have enough stands) to use the supports from the new stand while waiting for the replacement parts, but Amazon was out of stock. I thought I would send customer service a note on line, but received the following reply from GSM Outdoors:“Hello,Unfortunately we do not have spare parts. We suggest trying to do an exchange through the dealer that you purchased it from. If it is within 1 year of purchase we would be happy to exchange or replace your product. If it is outside the warranty, we do offer discounts on replacements through our Customer Service Department. It’s a great stand once it’s up. Very comfortable. However the shooting rest on this one seems a little flimsy. As for assembly, it was absolutely a nightmare for me. The instructions were terrible, the bolts didn’t seem to match, and I had to watch YouTube videos so I could get it finished. Overall I like it, and I’ve had multiple big game stands. So comfortable with extra height. But assembly was bad. Just set aside some time.

Early review covering initial impression and assembly.I ordered two of these. The first shipment was turned around as "damaged, undeliverable", so it seems Amazon is sensitive to the fact that parts get lost from these when the packaging is damaged. Refund was processed promptly and I re-ordered. Second shipment arrived with minor damage to the boxes, but contents were fine. Initial impression of design and build-quality are good. I like the width of the ladder, platform, and seat. The thickness of the metal and the oval profile of the ladder sides feels nice and sturdy. As other reviewers have mentioned, the directions for assembly are not great, but if you take your time and refer to the real life photo on the front of the box, they're adequate. Definitely take a few minutes to sort out the hardware ahead of time so you're not mixing up sizes while assembling. The package contains (both of mine did anyway) exactly the number of each type of bolt, nut, and washer that are required for assembly. The seat seems like it will be comfortable, but can't know for sure until first multi-hour sit. One minor gripe is the rail covers for armrests and shooting rail, the "padding" they have included is hardly worth the name, maybe 1/8" thick at best.Overall, I'm very happy with the stand for the price, and look forward to using them next season.

This tree stand is made of very thin metal. To get the ladder portions to line up for the pins results in a loose fit for the ends. The shooting bar was very wobbly due to the poor fit of the pieces. One of the arms had the holes drilled in the wrong surface so I had to drill new holes. Both of the strap ratchets were slipping so I used a different strap to put up the stand. The stand when on the tree is impossible to get level or plumb as the pieces are poorly aligned when assembled. I recommend looking elsewhere for a safer stand.

The metal is a very light gauge, and the welds are poorly done. I purchased 2 of these stands and both had weak welds and as the picture shows the welds came apart in the box, new. The picture is of the cross brace that extends from the ladder mid way up to the tree. I had to drill bolt and re-weld parts before being able to use these tree stands.

The instructions are not the easiest to follow but once I set it up a couple of times don't even need them. The stand is super quiet while sitting. The seat is very comfortable and the rail is quiet to operate. You can easily stand in it and you have room for your backpack under your feet. Footrest is quiet and really helps the long sits. Great unit......T
