This light is just the right fit for your Big Green Egg it mounts by on the handle and isn't in the way at all when you open and close the egg. The position is perfect to light up the egg grill surface keeping your hands free to work with the items you are cooking.......also I like the fact that it sits in a cradle so it is easy to remove when not using to store where you choose to keep it out of the weather thus giving it a longer life.......

Great product,easy to install. Good lighting of the grill at night. 2 minor issues, one it doesnt hold up well by the magnet, if you use it all,the time you are aware of this, but a friend was watching the grill, because I had to step away. It ended up in the grill and melted. Other issues you will get some melting spots especially the rubber button to turn on. That being said I did order another replacement. Great for the price!!!

It’s not a tight fit seems like it may fall out. But so far it’s been really good and has stayed in place. We live in Southern California so our weather is mild.

Love the ease of setup but learned the hard way while starting the grill that the light is not heat resistant. Have to take it off each time you start the charcoal. Hopefully they sell the light by itself or will replace.
