Purchased this as a coworker let me borrow their own. After using it I knew I had to buy one, more than worth the money for the price.Lighter than my Estwing and works just as well. The hickory handle is of good quality. Blade is durable and sharp, can easily be sharpened as well. That’s probably why the blade is a bit thicker than the Estwing version. Noticed a comment here about how the face is not good enough for taping, worked excellent for me. Solid marred face for striking.Overall and excellent drywall hammer. Lightweight, durable, packs a punch, sharp and very well balanced. Will be buying more Big Horn striking tools if they are this quality.

The face of the hammer is not rounded for pushing in drywall paper, the hatchet is too small and too thick. The hickory handle is nice but its formed too fat unless you have hands like a basketball. Going to buy another estwing
