I owned the denim blue version of these for two years before they succumbed to my neglect and were scorched on my gas top. The grippy lines are very helpful in keep pans from sliding out of your hands. The gloves are also a great length, protecting my forearms just enough without feeling cumbersome. The red version is a pretty dark red that goes with everything, and easier to spot around the kitchen when you misplace them. Excellent value too.

After burning my hands using cheap threadbare potholders forever I decided to do something about it. I normally just use the crappy ones that you get at the dollar store because who really thinks about potholders anyway? Well these gloves changed my attitude real quick. They come as a pair which I wasn’t expecting so when I saw 2 gloves I was pleasantly surprised. I guess I didn’t pay too much attention to the description, was just expecting a glove. But they come as a pair! These mitts are thick, have a quilted lining, and some silicone detailing for extra grip. They don’t look cheap at all . They look like something you would find in a Pottery Barn/ Williams Sonoma kitchen. Anyone who has to stick their hands in a hot oven needs these gloves. They are long enough to cover your wrist or they can be cuffed. And they are thick. No burnt fingers here. And they just look so nice. These would be great to have a few sets on hand for emergency hostess or housewarming gifts. Stick a bottle of their favorite adult beverage or a bottle of gourmet olive oil in the glove, put a bow on it & you won’t be the jerk who shows up with another set of cheese knives that nobody uses.

I know with oven mitts it's common to have the one size fits all offer but I think they should make them in small/medium and large - especially considering it's mostly (not all) women who use oven mitts or at least the majority of women use them more than men and most women's hands are small! That said? That's the only thing I wish were different about these mitts. They're a bit big for me (see picture of my other oven mitt) but I feel very safe in them :-) By safe I mean I'm one of those people who burns themselves because I either forget to use a mitt or the mitt doesn't protect me well enough. I don't know about you but it takes me at least 3 to 5 seconds to grab whatever I am taking out of the oven and "land" it on my countertop - some mitts just don't hold up and I can feel my fingers getting hot or worse the mitt just burns and smells awful after that while offering even less protection! These mitts are truly great in that respect! I made my own zucchini muffins today (my first low carb muffins!!) and these mitts kept me safe and sound! I love the color and the fact that they're a mix of silicone and cotton - separately? I don't like just silicone mitts - too fake and awkward and only cotton mitts are not strong enough but silicone and cotton together? They're a perfect combination of resilient and yet soft. I highly recommend them the only thing I would ask the manufacturer to change is make them available at least in medium and large. Other than that? I love my mitts and know my baking experience will not only be better because of them but safer!

These mitts have good protection against heat. And the silicone "stripes" that run along the outside grip items really well so they don't slip out of your hands. But that also means it can be tricky to let go of things. Sometimes it's safer to let a bowl or dish slide out from under the mitt, but that's impossible with these. So, all in all, good mitts, but be beware of this feature.

Have been purchasing these potholders in red as stocking stuffers for the past three years. They are durable, heat resistant, flexible and grips a hot baking dish or pot securely.

Great fit for a medium / large guy sized hand and the silicone stripes offer plenty of grip while maxing out the flexibility and comfort of the fabric gloves. Good stuff.

Fits comfortably and is flexible so that it’s easy to hold a handle. Love them. So happy to find a pair that works so well and is like my old pair which finally started to wear out after years of use.

Like my new oven mitts because they are longer for when reaching into oven. The bright color is festive and the silicone striping helps with grip and burn resistance.

I’ve had these gloves for a while and they are tough, and easy to wash. I like that they can be used on either hand and I have not been able to feel hot pants through them. They are thick but still easy to bend on your hands. Excellent and I’m sure I’ll have them for years to come. Love the color!

They are very nice looking gloves and come in a variety of colours. I chose red because that was my favourite. These gloves fit my medium women's hands fairly well. I had a pair of silicone gloves before this and they were big and slipped off. Now I don't have this problem. I really like that they are terry cloth with the silicone stripes over the top. They have been excellent so far lifting hot things from the oven with no burns or slips. I might get another pair!

I was in a jam n needed some mitts. These came fast they were not used. Comfortable and I think they can hold more heat than advertised but can't conferm.. They r really good!

Bought the red and they are a perfect replacement for some I had for 10 years with the silicone on the fabric. They are nice and long also without being too bulky
