Cleaning Instructions of Bicycle Chain Brush
Step 1: Remove the top cover in a direction shown as above.
Step 2: Attach the chain brush to the lower section of chain while making sure that the chain fully seats into the chain brush.
Step 3: Secure the top cover in place.
Step 4: Assemble the crank in a direction shown as picture until you hear a click sound.
Step 5: Fill the chain cleaner with sufficient detergent from the top inlet.
Step 6: Grab the crank of chain cleaner with one hand, and begin to spin your bike pedal with the other hand to start cleaning.
Step 7: After cleaning. Grab the small clamp of crank and remove the crank.
Step 8: Remove the top cover and drain the remaining detergent. Then fill chain cleaner with clean water and clean the chain again as the same way of detergent.

This works wonders. Have in my past break the chain to soak in de-greaser & ?ed items like this but am now riding a fat cargo bike & ? doing a break of the chain to clean due in part for chain break on the road. Chain & Sprocket looks like new. Didn't take too long to do a complete drivetrain maint.

There's nothing exceptional about these tools, but they are perfectly adequate and at a pretty good price. This will get the job done and keep your bike clean and lubricated.The claw-shaped gear brush is a bit awkward to use with the bristles sticking out everywhere, but it definitely works and I'm satisfied with the performance. Also, the gear-shaped ring on the chain lubricant is a gimmick and isn't any easier to use than a standard nozzle. The lids were also missing holes to dispense out of, so you will probably need a needle or a thumb tack to poke a hole in the center of these.Super meh tools. Not great not bad, but for the price you can't really beat it.

This is a nice starter kit for bike maintenance. Bought it for my new eBike and it's pretty comprehensive for cleaning the chain, etc.

Wow. This thing works great. The brushes are perfect. The soap is strong so dilute it. The lube is oil.

The chain degreaser crank “box†and its soap worked well.The brushes were nice to have included - but are cheap materials - making them only “somewhat†handy.The chain lube is NOT dry - (which was my error in not noticing that fact).Additionally, the applicator bottle is a complete FAIL.It’s too bad too - because it really looks like an ingenious top design - having a “gear-look†that has dispersal holes to drip out lube from each tooth - aiming to “mesh†the bottle top gear tips between the links of your chain and lubricate each link - as you crank the chain, and even rotating the top - as a gear.But the gear shaped top of the applicator bottle is too stiffly rotated - and the chain passing by engaging it cannot turn it easily enough to accomplish the task.So - you must use it manually- with a rag underneath - and manually squeeze out the juice to carefully lube your chain etc, - by hand….When its all said and done - you just consider the cost - vs getting the degreaser soap, crank box chain scrubber, some manually applied WET lube, and a couple cheap brushes…Still - it might be worth it as a starter kit. So You could buy this kit - then bulk-buy a gallon of Simple Green (aircraft precision grade) and the Muc-Off +ceramic dry lube (w/UV tracer) chain lube - and you will be good for the long term - which is what I did.

I noticed that the easier it is to clean my bike chain, the more likely I am to do it. This kit makes it easy and it just plain works.

This cleaner kit works great but does have one flaw. The cleaning fluid, brushes and chain cleaner work well. it chain cleaner was eazy to use and got my chain a lot cleaner than it was. It didn't come sparkling clean but it did get a lot of the grim and grease off my chain. The flaw with this kit is the chain lube. The lube itself is fine but the bottle and its cap design are terrible. The lube will not come out of the top hole. I just wouldn't instead it sprays out the small holes on side and it goes everywhere! Very frustrating to use.
