I use my mountain bike a lot, since I live adjacent to some trails. I can get lazy about maintenance, but I don’t want to completely neglect and destroy my drive components. These chain brushes are useful tools for a quick post ride chain lube and grit removal session. I just brush with some chain lube and wipe it off. This seems to be enough cleaning to prevent unusual component wear, as long as you do a more serious deep cleaning occasionally.Here are some thoughts about the brushes:- the plastic/nylon bristles seem like they will last a while.- I got the two pack, which is a very good value.

These are basic chain and bike cleaning brushes. The chain cleaning end is wider than what you'll want for pretty much any bike, but is probably good for motorcycle chains. You can still use it on a bike, but you'll have to tilt it to get both sides to engage, or just focus on one side and then the other. The long bristle end is nice for getting into some of those hard to reach areas, which is always a chore. The bristles aren't stiff enough to get the stubborn grime that builds up in the cassette, but that just means you're not washing your bike often enough.
