Install Tips:
- The coupler comes with the coupler plate, lock washer and a locking pin.
- On the rear wheel, on the side opposite the derailleur, remove the axle nut of a bolted wheel,and seat the lock washer and the coupler on the axle of the bike (the usual order is bike fork,washer, coupler plate,wheel bolt)
- After these items are in place,tighten the wheel bolt,you will feel the coupler meshing with the bumps on the lock washer.
- Attach the trailer:Insert the trailer tow arm into the coupler and secure with the included locking pin.Be sure to secure all other safety straps included so the trailer is secure to the bike.

With a cam-lever system for a back wheel, this is a very fast install. Just goes on the opposite side from the derailleur gears...Simple to use as well.We haul the grand kids around behind grandma...Price is OK, though there isn't much to the connector.
