I have my road bike set up on a bike trainer inside my house during the winter months so that I can ride my bike indoors. I was looking for a wheel riser to help the bike feel more parallel to the ground so that it is more comfortable to ride. This was exactly what I was looking for! The riser provides enough height so that my bike is more comfortable to ride indoors. I have a road bike and my tire fits great into the riser. I recommend!

If you're only using a road bike with road tires on a floor that has a bit of grip, then this will work fine. But I tried it with my gravel bike with 700x40mm tires and it just barely fit. Also, the vinyl plank floor I used it on was too slick for the anti-skid pads, which are some kind of foam rather than rubber. I'll probably find some similar sized rubber pads to replace the foam ones and hopefully that will make it more stable. I wouldn't even try to use this on a tire that's wider than 40mm, which is a bummer because I coach a high school mountain bike team and we have to resort to trainer practices when it snows. This wheel block is just too small for what I'd want in a wheel block. If it were larger, could handle larger tires, had actual anti-skid pads and maybe more weight, then it would be perfect.
