I purchased a different set of wheels previously and the first use they bent and down my kid went. Fast forward to finding these, they were easy to install, I used what was sent with the wheels. They really helped with stability and were the perfect length (he has 20inch wheels). Every time he rides he becomes more confident, I will probably move the wheels up as he becomes more confident until he can go without. He thinks the lights on the wheels are cool, I like that they are wide and substantial enough to prevent him from falling. Make sure you check the bike to verify they will work what with you have, the picture is very clear on what it works with and what it doesn’t. The brackets are thick and sturdy. I was very happy with the price point and very impressed with how quickly I was able to install and how quickly my child’s confidence in riding has returned. Highly recommend.

Purchased for a 20" bike. My son wasn't quite ready to go without training wheels but needed a larger bike, so we ordered these. They work well. He has only ridden during the day so I can't tell how well the lights work, but we didn't get them for that feature so it's not important to us. I chose them for their price & reviews & I'm pleased with how they're working out

My son is a big 4 year old and got his new 20" bike for his birthday. The bike shop only had flimsy training wheels, so I ordered these because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. The support arms seemed vastly better than anything else I had come across, and the wheels have little embedded LEDs that light up when spun quickly. They seemed great.Then when I mounted the support arms to the rear fork of the bike, the little clips that keep the training wheel arms in place weren't long enough, so they badly scratched the paint on fork of the (new) bicycle. I worked around that limitation and managed to effectively mount the training wheels, and my son was off to the races. He loved them for a total of about 3 hours, until he wiped out due to the wheel coming apart and falling off! Make no mistake, I followed the directions when assembling these things. The entire kit came with one of each, for each side: a nut, bolt, washer, and wheel. There was only one washer (which I thought was odd.) And the instructions said to put that one washer behind the arm, under the lock-nut, and not on the outside of the wheel hub under the bolt. After the wheel completely fell apart, I thought about putting it back together and putting a few additional washers on the outside of the wheel hub to keep it all in place, but the bearing cases were bent, everything inside was a hot mess. I had to hammer the bolt out of the wheel hub. And the other side was in bad enough shape that it too would be falling apart soon.I'm really sorry, but this is a classic example of a great design with superior mounting arms, and one component (the wheel hub) was so cheaply made that it makes the product worthless beyond a few uses. Honestly, it probably shouldn't be sold. I would absolutely not recommend this product. Returned to Amazon, and requested a refund, not a replacement.

They are easy to install, except for the part on getting the wheels to properly light. While the directions are there, it's a small call out photo with micro font. Once put together correctly only one wheel will light up. Fun idea, but poor quality control. All in all it seems that these wheel will be on there some time, and look like they will hold up well. The are installed on a 20" Trek Mystic we inherited, I believe somewhere around 2013 model.

Ordered this and one wheel did not spin as freely as the other. I could spin the good wheel and it would rotate for close to 20 seconds. The other would only make one rotation before it would stop and need to be spin again. Manufacture sent a replacement set that had a similar issue. One wheel spun freely and the other would only make one or two rotations. That being said they did work. The lights on one of them has stopped working after only 3 rides approximately 5 miles total. I didn't purchase them for the light up feature so I'm wasn't too concerned about that. They did not come with the nuts to attach them to the bike axle either. They were tricky to find for the bike I was putting them on. Not the wheels fault though.

Sturdy and easy to install. My grandson was learning to bike and these wheels made his 16†bike into the perfect training bike. We liked them so much that we purchased a second set for his other bike. The led lights are not vibrant but allow you to see when the training wheel isn’t touching the ground. The leds only light up when the wheel is soinning.,

These are high quality, but they don’t actually fit a 20†bike—or at least not my son’s Schwinn. Even attached using the last hole, they’re still too short by at least an inch on both sides, so the bike wobbles side-to-side far too much for a kid to feel like it’s stable.

Since day 1, lights on one of the wheels fails, wheel support is too weak, constantly bends.

I wanted to replace noisy training wheels that came with bike. This one doesn't make noise, support is strong, but the bearings are cheap and wheels don't rotate freely. One of the wheel also don't light up.l after a few use.
