Although the description states that the material is aluminum, the holder is in fact plastic. This is a gift so hopefully they don't mind. Buyer beware of false information.

Bottle is a good capacity and fits snuggly in the holder which is easily fitted to a bike with standard mounting lugs. Pleased with this and gets used regularly.

This bottle is brilliant, I thought it would just be a cheap style bottle but no it’s ace. I use it whilst out on my bike as well as at home. The bottle holder was a little stiff to start with which caused a few issues trying to get the bottle back in when riding but after a few times of managing it, the stiffness seems to have subsided.Not expensive at all and truly perfect value for money.The holder took me seconds to fit to my bike, a couple of Allen screws and your done.

Purchased 2 of the bottles for a cycle event fitted easy on to bike and found that the cover over drinking works well. Would recommend good value for money.

The rigidity of the protruding grips are reliable enough to hold the bottle in place over even the bumpiest of surfaces but they have started to scour lines along the insertion area that look unseemly. The lock mechanism has started to jam too so I don't use it anymore, and the quick release button doesn't always flip the lid open. I've also noticed that you have to twist the bottle away from yourself when opening if it's full, as the straw has a habit of squirting a length of water right in your face otherwise.So yeah, not perfect, but I have no particular problem not using the catch or remembering to turn the straw away so it can squirt on the road before I take a sip. Minor niggles in the grand scheme, but you may want to shop around for something a little less flawed.
