I have looked at getting one of these for a while. I had looked on Amazon and my local HF tool store. This one is VERY similar to a lot of other ones but when really looking into it there are a few extras that this have that others like the Hart brand one at HF just dont have! This pump is a great tool to have for any time you wish you could suck the fluids out of a car. I know that in some cases, like working on a boat, this is a MUST have because it makes draining the oil WAY less of a nightmare. However, oil isnt the only thing to use this on. I have used this to pull coolant out of the overflow tank, brake fluid out of the master, and power steering fluid out of the reservoir. This one comes with hoses that are small enough for event the tiniest tube you may need to feed it down! I have even used the smallest one from a friends extractor to stuff down sunroof drains and blow them out! So they can get anywhere! The extractor hoses have rubber connectors on the one end of them. Only the largest tube is designed to plug directly into the extractor. The other ones plug into the larger plastic tube and act as extensions. Well, with the exception of the brake bleeder hose, that also plugs directly into the extractor as well.Pulling the connector in the top where you connect the hoses out of the top exposes the drain for the extractor and it actually has a little pour spout on it.One nice feature this one has that most of the other ones DONT (except the Hart from HF) is a tall small diameter tube that mounts to the side. This awesome little addition is there to stick your hoses in when you are done so that they can drain any left over fluids out into the small tube! This is really nice because, personally, after using the syringe type fluid pump i swear those hoses always seem to leak fluid out of them onto everything even when i swear ive cleaned it out good enough!!Another thing this one has that others dont (also appears to be missing from the Hart version too) is a tube holder built right in to the side of the extractor. This is a great feature because without it there is no good place to stick those tubes without buying or making something on your own.The extractor has good "power" and can get a really decent vacuum pull on it! It is definitely enough to do anything youll need to do with it. I have a small brake bleeder that plugs into an air line, it has plenty enough power to bleed brakes and leave no air... This thing draws down WAY more then that little shop air powered thing can! So I now can get rid of that tired old bleeder and use this one instead. This one may be manual powered vs my air powered one BUT it does not take many pumps to get a good vacuum draw! Due to the size and stroke of the pump it really only takes a few pumps to get good vacuum going! This one has just nicer fit and finish too. The sealing area (lid and base) look nicer and more reinforced, it has a sturdy feeling pump, and although the base isnt SOLID plastic it feels sturdy when you stand on the "foot pegs" and pump it down. This one even has little things that are nice like the fact that they used black screws on top of the black lid rather then shiny bare metal ones. They are also the correct length and not 1/2" too long. Its just little things like that they paid attention to gives me reassurance that they also paid attention to the important parts too!I DO have to give them a little jab though... If you look at the label on the extractor they spelled "manual" wrong (Manual Fluid Extractor) instead they have "Manuel Fluid Extractor". Im not sure WHO Manuel is but i dont want to go anywhere NEAR his fluids! LOLAlso if i really had to nit pick some thing i really didnt like it would be that the hoses are harder plastic and due to being in a box and probably came off a massive ROLL at the factory, they have a serious curve memorized into them. It drove me nuts because you couldnt really put them into the drain catch on the side of the extractor. However, a few minutes on each hose with a heat gun erased the memory out of them and gave me almost perfectly straight hoses! You really cant go wrong with this extractor though! Especially if youve been looking at the local HF tool store near your house! This one has more features, better fit and finish, and its actually cheaper!!This may seem like a bit shilly of a review but i assure you it is NOT i have NO concerns about bombing a product with a review and wont give out good reviews JUST because i am a Vine Member! If you see some of my portable battery bank reviews you'd understand!

This is a great extractor, very similar quality as the mityvac but a lot cheaper, this is the manual version (this seller also has a pneumatic version that use compressed air ) but for being a manual pump it has a lot of suction power, the capacity is 9 litters which is a plus since most cars now use a lot of oil, so this unit will cover most of the new engines, comes with a bunch of adaptors including one for brake bleeding, the tubes are 44 inches long so it will be enough for most engines, I didn't want to risk the machine trying any type of fuels, but it works with any other fluids and does pretty well.

Appears to be very well built. It comes with multiple tube sizes plus an adaptor for bleeding brakes and a rod to clear any clogs you may get in smaller tubing. The pump itself (which makes or breaks these devices) is robust and works very well. I wish they would think about where to grab and hold when draining these things. Some places have used oil tanks that are awkward to drain into. Other places only accept used oil in sealed containers, so an easy way to drain this into oil jugs (quarts or gallons) would be appreciated. Time will tell on longevity, but it feels well made and compares to the OG version.

I have a couple of oil extractors already, and I use them often. Problem is that the 12 volt one doesn't have a holding tank and requires a battery, and the other requires an air compressor to create the vacuum. Also the HF compressor driven extractor is quite heavy to empty and move around. To remove the cap on the drain oil spout of this BILITOOLS 9L Vacuum Oil Pump Extractor it is only needed to twist the cap upwards to overcome the resistance of the O-rings that seal the cap. I lightly used a vice grip to twist the cap out. This unit is lightweight and surprisingly large in size.

I'm a bit torn on this. I mostly like the capacity since my 4Runner has over 6 liters which overfills most vacuum extractor. However, there is clearly a leak at the top where the tube attaches. You can hear the hiss after several pumps. The seal is not good. Also, the included tubes are not long enough. I have to come up with a way to improvise to use this by extending the tube so I can place this on the floor while extending the tube into the dipstick. 2 stars for lack of useability and quality control/design issues.

I recently purchased the BILITOOLS 9L Vacuum Oil Pump Extractor for changing the oil in our 2019 Mercedes C43, and while the concept seemed great, the experience was a bit mixed. The process is straightforward enough: just insert the tube into the dipstick hole and start pumping. However, right from the start, all we heard was a lot of gurgling, almost like we were just pumping air into the oil pan. After a bit of frustration, the oil finally started coming out, but it took much longer than I had anticipated. We followed the instructions, but it ended up taking over an hour to complete the job, with a lot of pumping and gurgling along the way.I'm not sure if it was an issue with the hose size or compatibility, but compared to the smooth, quick oil changes shown in most online videos, this was a far slower process. It definitely didn’t go as seamlessly as I’d hoped. In the end, while the tool did eventually do the job, we’ve decided to stick to the old-fashioned method of draining oil from the oil pan until we can purchase one that connects to an air compressor.

I just tested the pump using water to see how it works. It did great. I have a tractor that is very difficult to get oil changes done on. I think this will be the perfect option. I can also see this being perfect on boats. I will certainly use it. It is very large and will hold a lot. I think of oil in quarts and this will hold just under 10, so the capacity is great. I like that it has many size tubes for any job you need it for.

So many tasks can be expedited by owning this. Easy to change oil. Easy to change transmission fluid. Adapters to bleed brakes by pulling fluid out of the calipers. Perfect.
