I own a Pit Boss pellet grill. I upgraded the factory controller to the newer Bluetooth / Wi-Fi version. Bluetooth worked fine. Wi-Fi was very hit/miss. Mostly miss. Problem appeared to be related to signal strength. My router is in line of sight through a glass window and often the Pit Boss could not hold a Wi-Fi connection. My ChargePoint EVSE which is also outside near the grill never has trouble with Wi-Fi connection. So... I decided to add an external Wi-Fi antenna to my Pit Boss. Very easy to do. It is a simple matter of ordering this antenna and cable kit, drill a hole in the metal cabinet, and connect the antenna. Now I have full bars of Wi-Fi signal showing on the app. Just make sure you order the connector size that is for Mini PCI Express network. I only needed 1/2 of the kit, as only one antenna is needed.

These antennas did the trick extending the WiFi range of my security cameras. Required some precision installation with my paticular cameras(Wyze). Followed a YouTube video to install.

Perfect for adapting 2011 Camaro shark antenna to SiriusXM SXV300v1 module. Just add this between the factory connector behind the radio then the gold end to the SiriusXM SXV300v1. Tried without it and the factory connector is not tight and will not stay connected on its own as suggested by certain videos...

There is no writing on the package about the 8dBi strength of the antenna. No manuals. That is the only down side. It just comes in a plastic bag. But works just fine. No problems.
