I couldn't even get my towns radio station, I replaced my head unit and added a new antenna, but my iPod was getting better reception. The towns radio station was sketchy, distorted and just not very good. I installed this device, piggy backed off the ignition power, and it worked a treat. I'm picking up the local station and a few others from farther away. I think I need a better antenna still, but it absolutely helped.It's about half the size of a deck of cards (cut along the long axis) so it actually fits really well in behind my new head unit.So yeah, for $10 it's well worth it.

I have a 97 3000gt vr4. Cars from that era had a power antenna that went up and down when the radio is turned on or off. The antenna broke so I replaced it with a stubby one. My signals were bad so I got this product to help boost the signal. It didn't work! Oh well.

Well I was hoping it would actually work. Guess what, it did. I use to be barely able to get one station I listen to, to the edge of town before I lost it. It quadrupled the range. Still can't hear it in the town I work in. But it helped a lot listening to in my town.As far as installation. Couldn't be more simple. Plug antenna in one side, then into the radio. Run the power wire to accessory feed. Use the double sided 3m tape to secure to the back of the radio. Not sure what the led light is actually for, as it comes on when first powered up then goes off.I read the reviews on the internet before choosing this one. Instead of the ones on here. This was the top rated one.

A very good product. Easy to install and very efficient. I recommend it. It improved the signal strength, and the quality of sound. Can find more radio stations.

Installation isn't hard at all but once I installed the ones I had bought in all my vehicles the signal hasn't really gotten much better. 5 stars for the Installation but only 3 stars for the function.

Love it, it enhanced the radio receptions by 10 folds. It didn't have any effect on AM radio but big improvement for FM.

I was looking into getting a car antenna amplifier so I could hopefully get better signal. I live just a few miles outside of a town in rural area. Some of my radio stations signals are a little weak. So I did my research and read reviews on antenna amplifiers and even came across a product breakdown on several amplifiers and this very antenna amplifier was in the lineup. So despite some of the already bad given reviews I over looked them and I'll try it out. Price was good. Installation was easy as 123. The led light came on. I'm good to go. So after a few days. I have came to the conclusion that this amplifier didn't help at all. And even being in town or other places were before signal was good now with the amplifier installed It actually made it worse or even signal was in and out. So this product is junk.
